The SD card standard is sabotaging SD cards
It is near impossible to understand for the common user and you can easily find a counterfeit or just plain slow card without even knowing.
UHS is a start, but support is incredibly iffy because it's not too prominently advertised Ito a lot of manufacturers don't include it in their readers. It would be a lot clearer to people if there were minimum standards for SD cards [I]and[/I] readers and the naming convention was more like microSD x.0

With GH5 and wanting to shoot 4k all Intra. You are recommended a Class 10 U3 UHS 2 V90 card.
Which all it means is the minimum write speed never drops below 90MB/s

Doesn't excuse Google for fucking over tech literate people, what happened to the concept of it doing a pop-up that said "hey asstard, your SD-card is slow as shit" and link them to a place that lists all examples of good SD-cards, ideally combined with a list of reputable stores and chains selling those?

Soo, new FB Messenger has games in it. Snake, 8pool, and a shitton of others. You can play them on desktop FB too with no problems. It launches it as an app or whatever and it works.
Now, I don't want to update my Messenger app due to the my day shit and other similar things (killed my battery life too). I however can play the same games on my phone when I go to FB on my phone with a desktop user agent. Even the controls are touch based, but what's annoying is that all the chats still have to run on the background as the game is just an overlay. I tried looking into it myself but didn't understand anything, but I'd expect that there is a way to just launch these on another tab instead. My current workaround for not updating messenger is just a bit too excessive.
Installed ElementaryOS (linux) on a HDD in my PC Repair Class today
it's.. interesting. Still not a fan of Linux but it's fun to just experiment with though.
Also I chose Elementary because it is the best looking one pretty much, everything else looks like it came right out of 2012
Unity was a solution to a problem that didn't really exist.

I really wish there was something between 1440p and 4k that isn't an ultrawide or at least a 4k monitor between 32" and 39". There's just this void in the market in both areas.
I'd kill for a 36" 4k monitor or an 1800p 32" monitor.
