More or less finalized PC Picker build, gonna start buying the parts. Does anyone have anything to add, suggest, etc?

That motherboard has fucking awful memory support. Either get a motherboard that doesn't suck or don't bother with high speed RAM. This is the list of memory they have tested on it, you'll notice there's nothing that's 32 GB and high speed. There's a reason it's so cheap.
This motherboard + memory should work at 2933 which is about as fast as you're getting out of 32 GB on Ryzen currently. Intel is less picky with XMP but it was the same when it was new.
I can almost guarantee you won't notice any difference at all between a 960 evo and pro, save yourself a hundred bucks. My 960 evo still gets 3 GB/s read and 1.8 GB/s write.

The PRO is faster than the EVO by a bit, but that's not its main selling point. The PRO has much higher endurance than EVO, and also longer warranty.
If you plan to use the SSD extensively in a write heavy environment (or want a longer lasting SSD in general), then PRO is probably the better choice.
Ordered a Hard drive dock from Amazon, got a bluetooth speaker instead. :incredible:

A good one, at least?

How even
Edit:
Then again, I guess I can understand how it could happen having done order selection.

I bought a cheapy Inateck hard drive dock after making sure its fine for what I was using it for. Just got sent their brand portable speaker instead. So no, I'd imagine not.

At least Amazon will get your shit fixed up fast. Ordered a screw driver set from Jaycar express to install SSD, circuit tester arrived the next day, took 4 days to get a response out of their support, two weeks after the tracking says it's been delivered 4 suburbs over. If it's not my desk on monday I'm getting paypal involved, fuck Jaycar.

A few years back I ordered a Wireless keyboard and mouse set for my entertainment centre. They sent me one of these:

If it's that speaker with a rubber strap, shaped like a giant pebble, then it's actually not that bad... I keep one in my shower.

I read that the gpu performance gets better with faster ram so I'd upgrade the motherboard at this point. I wanted to get the 960 pro for the warranty and slight speed increase.

Employees at Amazon warehouses are extremely rushed, because Amazon keeps metrics on speed and punishes accordingly.
It's probably a fair bet to say that most warehouses have moved over to the Kiva system, so the mistake would be done by the human that takes the item out of the shelf that was brought over by a Kiva robot.
Welp, bought a Honor 9 and it's the first time there's no root available when I buy an android device. So far I like it quite a lot, but getting told that my device is unsecure on boot and being unable to use netflix is annoying as fuck. Also cant transfer important stuff without root :(

On my rooted V20, if you sideload the netflix APK it works fine. You just can't get it from Play any more. That said it very well may break in the future.

Yea I read that too but I won't sideload it till I get titanium backup working AKA root.

Don't want to use ADB?
Ok, took like 14hours but both 8TB's are clean and solid. I don't plan on shucking, but they'll take over the role of other drives out of warranty.
I do a sort of rotation. Drives out of warranty go in the server or are shucked and go in the server. Drives in warranty take over. And with 8TB, I can decommission two externals at the same time.
With how fast the red's are. It's tempting to buy two more and make a RAID10 out of them. 200MB/s on the outside, like 130 on the inside. Even at 5400rpm. Of course, I'd still have them in the shell and use storage spaces :p
Finally installed that new SAS2 backplane. But now my drives won't show up, not even my controller, so idk what is going on.
I'd love to get my S7 Edge rooted but I don't want to have to factory reset it.

That's a little silly. Pretty much anything you develop is going to actively compete against Facebook with the way the company has gone with their R&D.
Sucks though for current developers.
This is why we don't use things from Facebook. They are not a company that acts in good faith.

isn't this just i can't use react.js in any ASF related thing? i can still use react.js wherever i want if i don't give a shit about facebook potentially infringing on my patents

Ah ok, yeah only within ASF projects but it's definitely not a small list

We've been selling them like crazy at my store. One of my co-workers ordered 40 of them two weeks ago and we're down our last couple.

Just can't be arsed and don't need it ATM anyway.
