All Hail Michael Dell!

I warn you now: I can keep going.
Don't stop
Don't forget viewing angles. TN is downright unusable in some multi-monitor setups.
I wanted to rotate my TN panels.. Terrible idea. It looks like complete ass.

For no reason at all of course.
How about I fit then with low profile Mellanox 10GBE cards?
My internet is only 8Mbps but oh man these Opitplexes sure can stream 4k movies from plex in a jiffy.
Sometimes I feel like a magician when I close my eyes and put my head against the top of my computer while I roughly finger the PSU cables and get them in the holes.
It's a good feeling

I've never felt that before
I did a test run on my PC and got water in everything.
Only just finished it tonight,
Custom loop with a delidded 7700k and aorus 1080ti xtreme wb
Tubes are a little awkward due to leaky rotaries so I had to use long tubes and straight on compression fittings
Also half my hose was too big for it's spec so it took me a week of fucking around with really tight fittings, needed wd40 a LOT

Except I still don't have a spare outlet for them so they were immediately returned to their proper positions after the photo was taken.
Would you like me to go bigger? I have some Optiplex 780s on loan to my company I can retrieve. If you're wondering why I have so many of these things its because its much cheaper to buy an Optiplex with 4*2GB/4*2GB DDR3 sticks than it is to buy 4*2GB DDR3 sticks.
Also if anyone has a framed photo of Michael Dell and a HP they don't mind being sacraficed we can turn this into a OptiAltar.

Like that ever happens
You either forgot the CPU power cable, absent-mindedly plugged your monitor into the motherboard instead of the GPU, or it boots up fine but you forgot the I/O shield

Or you forgot to plug in the CPU fan.
It's happened to me twice on someone else's build.
I went for framerate and image quality and ended up getting one of these which I'm a big fan of besides the slight issue of smearing with grey-on-grey (which is largely circumvented by using strobing so whatever) and some freesync niggles (which tbh I mostly blame on freesync's implementation)
I probably will upgrade to a higher res monitor at some point but goddamn I can't give up HFR displays now, and I love the contrast ratio of this thing.
Samsung should be avoided at all costs for screens imo

I actually have that monitor, I love it.
I don't think I had any issues when I built my computer back in....was it july?
I don't think I had any issues when I built my computer back in....was it july?
Same, aside from being freaked out by how much force 2011-3 needed, it went as smooth as possible.
Samsung should be avoided at all costs for screens imo
This thing did have some known QC issues (fixed by now as far as I know) but, why?
I have 2 Samsung monitors and they've both been troopers. Samsung displays in general are some of the best in the market.

Not to mention that they are an OEM. Even many displays that are not manufactured by Samsung proper, have panels that are in fact, Samsung panels. Same with LG, Sharp, etc.
I actually have that monitor, I love it.
And yeah it's a pretty fantastic monitor despite the overdrive issues. The best I've ever had for sure.
goddamn i hate how stupid people are:
so i catch some cheaters on an assignment (blatantly stolen from google source code), instructor calls the entire class out "maybe you copied and pasted and submitted what you shouldn't have", gives everyone 24 hours to submit their own work and be okay
the two that were the entire reason we called them out: one didn't bother resubmitting, the other resubmitted with variable names changed and that was it
enjoy some academic sanctions i guess?

I was helping my boss look over the githubs of some applicants, and one dude's GitHub had everything uploaded three hours earlier and everything was copied from online tutorials, comments and all :v:

I mean most of your koreashit monitors are Samsung panels as well
[editline]25th October 2017[/editline]
And I've loved both my Koreashit monitors

I've found their image quality inferior to other products in the same league, and huge amounts of problems ranging from bleeding, flicker, consistency of colours across screens, saturation and contrast issues. Some of which can be fixed with settings and profiles but as someone who has worked in the industry selling them I can't recommend them over very many brands.
ViewSonic, Acer, Asus, BenQ, Dell, AOC, LG are all much better options from what I've seen, they all have bad apples but Samsung seem to have a lot more issues across the board.
This is just my perception though.
Most of those companies don't even make their own panels. Pretty sure AOC has some Samsung panels in their lineup though they mainly use LG and Optronics iirc
Does anyone know if debit cards store birthday information somehow?
I went into taco Bell and bought two things off the dollar menu and paid with my debit card and she handed my food back with a "happy birthday!" I was kinda surprised she had access to that information but I don't know how

It probably gives name and DOB

Discretionary Data? They could put DOB there for whatever reason

DOB isn't present on standard magstripe payment cards (see ISO 7813), but there is room for "discretionary data", which I guess could contain DOB. I worked heavily with magstripe cards, but proprietary ones, not standard credit cards, so I don't actually know what non-standard data is common. I don't think they would, though. It doesn't actually affect transaction processing, and the space is very limited, especially on Track 2.
More likely, they did some kind of lookup. The payment processor could easily send back a different message, if it detects it's your birthday. They have all that data, may as well use it.

Yeah although they share a lot of them, I just named off the top of my head the most reliable brands in terms of which panels they used, usually those brands share similar or the same panels apart from LG who make most of their own to my knowledge. Samsung does that too... Just not as well.
Maybe the cashier just guessed hoping to freak someone out
