OS9 or no OS9? My school has one that dropped off a table, dead hard drive, screen bezel broke etc. it’s too new for OS 9.
One is a Mini g4 with OSX Tiger. The other is a Power Mac G4 Quicksilver DP dual booting OS9 and OSX Tiger.
Uh, is AMD using Sharepoint Foundation 2013 for their drivers download page? But why? It feels like....overkill, even if it is the free version. :v:

I hope I never have to do tech support for this guy.
Yea unless he's paraphrasing everything that happened, all the article does is make me think he got one "I'm sorry sir" and started cursing at them.
ugh, hate people like that-- you can be persistent and generally get what you want without being rude
As someone that works on the other side of the line, be careful how you treat customer support reps. People absolutely do talk shit about you once you hang up. And yes, they do note if you were especially obnoxious/rude if you ever call back again. Escalate it to a certain point and numbers get blacklisted. It can bite you in the ass in the future.
Scripts are awful and canned responses are cheesy as hell, but complain to the company, the rep hates it just as much as you do. Not saying things in certain ways are considered "auto-fails" by the company and count negatively against you.
For me handling tech and some customer support on twitter, we have remarkably kind customers. Sometimes they get frustrated if they get bounced between departments which is unfortunate but we rarely have anyone really mad at us the people helping.
Granted, I have pretty much free reign to respond how I wish and almost every response is typed out by me. I've copy pasted maybe 10-15 responses in the 6 months I've been at my job. I try to customize every response since I know how annoying it is to not be heard.
Stuck with the EdgeRouter lite for my router and didn't do any trade-ups/ins. I figured it's not that big a deal and since I've got everything covered I should be good.
Plus I enabled DPI on my router and I can monitor my traffic that way.
On a fun note I just got my new TV unit setup today and it's looking great.

Now to setup all my systems, put stuff on the shelves, and make it awesome. Just waiting on the couch which'll come this upcoming weekend.
Started my tier-1 job today. Since the other guy in my office is out on a conference, my manager set me up with an A+ class.
I should have done this certification ages ago, this is mostly a cakewalk.
