OK so it has been built and jumping the motherboard did work. The only real annoying part was installing the damn cooler properly.. then uninstalling it to install the RAM properly. Then installing the damn cooler all over again. Then I found out that the EVGA PSU I got didn't have enough 3x2 pin splitters for the 1080TI I bought, so I switched out the PSU for the Corsair RM750X I had laying around instead. That one actually did have enough 3x2 pin splitters for the GPU. Gee thanks EVGA. After plugging in everything correctly, it boots and man, what a day to live in with the ASUS BIOS menu, it's fancy af. I didn't realize how small m.2 sticks were until I actually opened the box.
I know that whenever I actually get the case, I'll have to disconnect everything connecting to the PSU, take out the GPU and then actually install the motherboard and everything else into it properly.

the deathstar reputation purely comes from the 75GXP. A hard drive released in early 2000, since then Hitachi went on to create just about the highest quality drives on the market under HGST, and HGST while being owned by WD now still continue to push out really, really high quality stuff (Although I worry they'll degrade under WD).

I also realized I didn't get a motherboard with thunderbolt 3, then I realized I can easily add it via pci-e so whatever, it's not as big of a deal compared to having it on a laptop anyways.
Still waiting for the damn case and wifi adapter.

The actual Appx he was talking about is actually pretty nice. Handling installs with a powershell script from a server share is handy.

i was strugglin really hard trying to figure out why my ps4 controller wouldn't pair to my ps4 after i had used it on my pc. turns out the usb cable i had wasn't transferring data or something and it wouldn't let it sync.
idk why sony didn't have a button on the ps4 to set it to sync mode or something like the 360. would've made things super ez
My Xbox does that occasionally, no idea why it won't connect, then it just figures it's shit out and connects.

The 1080Ti has a power limit somewhere around 290W I think, so that's an 8 pin, a 6 pin, and PCI-E.

I dunno, on [URL="https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/EVGA_Graphics_Manual_English.pdf"]page 4 of the instruction manual[/URL], it said to plug in all of the required power plugs.
