Was a RAID60 I believe. And an issue with the controller dropped more than 2 drives on one side of the three way stripe. Since I think it was basically three RAID6's Striped.

I guess they can gather attention no only through shitty thumbnails, but also doing whatever that costs a lot of money, since the normal consumer will probably never, or ever actually need to have to experience.

At the time no. He was rebuilding his archive server. Problem was he only had a single backup of everything, but the footage he had was new from a paid gig, which wasn't able to be backed up to the archive server since it was offline.
Whole thing was fucking stupid.

Can't say it's better now. First Linus almost installed watercooled server above their main storage server and then he decided it's a good idea to use unraid for mission critical data storage. Plus at least a few more people (including Deadmau5) has mission critical storage running unraid thanks to Linus being the one who provided and configured those servers for them.

Credit cards aren't devil, instead, they can REALLY help you out and be your ally.
There's really a LOT of benefits of having a credit card. Like purchase, health and price insurance. and free travel (Miles program). Also, credit cards can really help you track your expenses.
I would never keep track of anything when paying with cash. I used to keep all of the receipts but then I got super lazy and didn't bother cataloging the receipts anymore. I just kept it in a pile somewhere on my desk.

I believe a typical argument is that depending on the situation you can end up better off by renting as well as putting your money into safer investments than the house would be. You also have benefits like mobility and less responsibility.

I picked up a Monoprice Select Mechanical Keyboard with Blue switches for $18. I have to say for $18, it's an amazing deal. It's hefty and the switches aren't terrible.

I would want any of the enthusiast processors just so I could say I have one and run Cinebench/3DMark on it with excessively large scores.
That's pretty much it. I could put it into a server for VM use and that would be the most taxing workload for it. Otherwise it would be video rendering and gaming.

Yeah so do I so I can edit and export my videos faster (for reference, exporting 2 hours of 4K 60FPS footage from the GH5 to YouTube's 4K preset took 8 hours on a i7-7700 but 6 hours on the Ryzen 7 1700, all stock) but 99% of the time, it's me browsing Facepunch or watching YouTube videos. I'm sure the Ryzen 7 1700 is good enough for my uses. I haven't even started to overclock it yet.
