CPU refuses to go over 3.9 GHz which is lame. 4GHz gets to the bitlocker prompt then never boots for real.

If Intel can get prices the same as their current i7 counterparts, 6 core CPUs with the IPC and clocks they currently get, then the 'year of AMD' for the desktop will be short lived.
Thought I'm really interested in Zen 2 and 7nm GloFo process. I didn't have high hopes since their current process for high-power silicon isn't amazing, and then they were [I]given[/I] IBM's foundry division for $USD 1.5 Billion, so that was an weird considering.
Intel has always been more expensive than AMD, and will most likely continue to be for the foreseeable future.
AMD doesn't need to be better than Intel. They just need to be almost as good, while significantly cheaper. I didn't buy my Ryzen CPU because it was better than Intel, but because the similarly priced Intel chip had only 4 cores/4 threads while the Ryzen chip I got has 6 cores/12 threads.

Their best outcome for Zen 2 is that 7nm cuts power usage enough to ramp up the clock speeds because 4GHz is old news. If they refine the clunky parts of the arch (better DDR4 OCs pls) they could probably get some more IPC and close the gap.
Intel going full quad core on the i3s is definitely [I]not[/I] something they would do if they were feeling cozy right now. Same for hex-core i5s, I wonder if they will even have a 4 core 8 thread part in the stack, as it would only make sense as a weird 'low end' i5
So I bought an Omen X (yeah, I know, it's disgusting) but I wanted to make a window panel for it. So I did and I posted it on the HP Omen Facebook page. They acknowledged it and said they would def. add a window panel to their new Omen PC's.
7 months later.. they now have window panels on their Omen PC's.. including the one I bought. Now granted, I realize I already have a window for my PC but it would of been cool if they had sent me the new panel for free. I love mine and all but i'm guilty their panel def. looks better.

It does but it looks like XMP is something Intel does and isn't available on my AMD Ryzen build.
