Not necessarily cheaper. There's always going to be expensive, non-touristy areas in any places like Italy. Basically, find the touristy areas and plan elsewhere.

Even the 1950x apparently can run at 4.1 on all cores on liquid. For 999, with more PCIe. Seems like a no brainer for most.

I just rebooted as apparently geforce experience needed it to install (and I haven't rebooted in a week anyway) and now it appears my bootloader is gone. Fan fucking tastic. Why am I cursed with lifelong computer problems??

The drive in my old Qosmio ticked intermittently all the time and I was constantly paranoid about it but it never had any issues :v:

What's worse is I had two drives in that laptop and I couldn't tell if it was my OS drive, which didn't really matter, or my documents drive, which matters a lot.

You can tell someone is pretty young when they ask what connector is this and they show a picture of a 40 PIN PATA connector on an old HDD. I see it more and more on the Spice works forums.

I know enough people that work in tier 1 and have a hard time differentiating VGA/DVI/HDMI. It's not related to age.

True, but those are all still in use on current hardware. It's entirely plausible some IT newbies to have never seen IDE. It hasn't been used on new hardware for 10 years at least.

My boss still insists on VGA because he's used to it, and complains when we get a new computer/graphics card that doesn't have VGA, only DVI and HDMI/DP.

Cheap converters for downconverting digital-only DVI, HDMI or displayport to VGA without latency are easy to find.

The other way around is mission impossible.

Very curious what hardware you're running since it shouldn't be. Works well even on modern mobiles for me, although for the actual site I've cut the number of stars down a lot on mobiles.

VGA/DVI is understandable since they're very similar format, just different colors.
HDMI though? Looks really different IMO.
