Wake History 0? Maybe something stopped it from going into sleep after I closed the lid
I'm a fair fan of modern Acer for making computers that are light, cheap but still manage to include great hardware. But the plastic they use for housings always starts to embrittle and crack at around the 2-3 year point and even the X1 Carbons have been holding up better (cosmetically) at this point.
My last three laptops have been Acer Aspires. I got ones from 2006, 2010, and 2015 (what I'm using now) and they're nothing to brag about when it comes to quality, but they are affordable for the hardware they have inside them. Their battery life is also abysmal.

Admittedly it isnt the fastest and most powerful thing but its got a good screen, fantastic battery life (my Asus and Dell had less than 2 hours battery life brand new), and doesn't outweigh a brick. Its even decently powerful for a chromebook: Celeron N3150 and 4GB of RAM.
I just received a 401K scam on my fax machine. Reason to keep fax machines around: The spam is entertaining.
I regret to inform everyone that I was referring to the wrong 4xx rule. Its a 419 scam, not a 401k.
Got a stable 4.8ghz overclock on my 6700k without having to touch the voltage. Perhaps my mobo is setting the voltage automatically?

I'll probably pick up an XPS 15 or some Ryzen laptop if they're out this time next year. [editline]24th August 2017[/editline] Is getting the 1050 and big battery worth throwing away that 2.5" drive slot though? my plan would be to get some SSDs and slap em on both slots, I think the default Dell M.2 is 32GB or something
Is getting the 1050 and big battery worth throwing away that 2.5" drive slot though?
Without a doubt, yes. 2.5" slots are worthless in laptops nowadays, especially for thin form-factor laptops.

Wanna learn the absolute fucking worst way to make "license agreement" functionality in installer? Ask IBM. I think I had to press enter at least 100 times (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Nope. This is the only way to scroll through it.
Anyone here got experience with freesync? I'll be waiting for Vega's non-reference models anyway but so far I got mixed signals and that might lead me to getting a 1080 instead if they're still better later.

Bought an Intel Xeon X5660 CPU for like $20 on eBay, can finally replace my 1st gen i7 with it. :v: One day I'll buy some modern hardware! [t]http://i.imgur.com/HCiWFgg.jpg[/t]

Motherfucker.. My second FB account just got disabled. As in, my last one got disabled a little over 2 years ago and a new one on a new email just got disabled for seemingly no reason. Sad that's my main way of contacting other people, including friends and parents. Also, going to university, a lot of things are shared on FB... [editline]25th August 2017[/editline] Oh well, getting your account nuked by them is the best way of getting rid of all the information.

Their policy is to use your name so people can identify you. Doesn't really apply to me because really everyone outside my parents don't even use my name.
Facebook is a genuinely frightening and repulsive entity.
My friend literally photoshopped a fake name name onto his drivers license, sent it to facebook and they unblocked his account :v: I imagine they have so many complaints to deal with daily they give the fewest of fucks to checking that stuff
3 fucking disabled accounts :v: found that I have one account on my very old email. Time to use that I guess. also, sent a pic of my ID and the reply I got was: [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/tratzzz/topfuckingkek.png[/t]
I've had an account with a fake name for many years, been blocked a couple of times where they've made me identify people on my friend list, but they haven't required any proof.
