Pretty sure my bill board account with a polar bear is still floating around enabled somewhere.
Second thing I lost today: One front USB port.

I might want to help it back to its real location but fuck that, I'd rather fuck this case up and buy a new one with USB3 and shielded front audio.

nVidia, ATI, Intel (Centrino...), AMD, Windows XP, Steelseries, and to top it all off, Spongebob :v:
What was special about centrino. I remember it being marketed so heavily.
Everyone talking about getting new laptops makes me jealous. Last laptop I owned was in 2003/04-05ish (Acer at that) and even using a modern £200-£400 one for even a little bit makes me almost delirious about owning one. Hoping I can get some funding at or for university to get one but I'm not holding out.
I'd love an XPS 13 or so but I'm honestly quite happy with my Surface Pro 2. This thing fulfills most of my needs just fine and with my power cover battery life is great.

Something like an XPS would be the dream, nice little machine to take out and play Smash Bros Melee or Brawl with friends and the like.

I've had experience using a few modern laptops. If I had that much problems with my PC I would've been a mac user by now. Everything is ok until you try to install clean os because that fucks up everything. Starting with oem drivers which is incompatible with the official ones and should be installed in a specific order and ending with tinkering with registry and device manager so this piece of shit stops waking up itself.
XPS 13 is a slippery slope, it's got that nasty non replaceable RAM.

It was Intel's laptop chipset brand and later wifi chip brand (and still is)

Only on the XPS 13. XPS 15 uses proper SODIMMs

For my 18th birthday, I got gifted a ton of stickers, including some hello kitty and these spongebob ones.
The AMD, Windows XP (Vista ready), Intel and Nvidia have been taken off various laptops I have dismantled.
My side panel is full of random stickers I have found/gathered/given from events and whatnot. It was all in my attempt to stickerbomb my case with so many stickers that I want to get rid of it but even though I have plenty of money to get a whole new PC, I haven't felt the pressure to buy a new case yet. I motherfucking screwed my SSD somewhere into my ODD bays sideways and I felt so bad, but I haven't wanted to waste a little bit of money for a new case.
My mother has a 14" laptop with a FullHD IPS panel, my sister and now my father have laptops with 15.6" FullHD IPS panels and I am sitting on random mismatched TN panels, 2x 19" 1280x1024 and 1 22" 1680x1050 that I have simply found from somewhere.
I feel like having to upgrade my whole setup but I feel like it is a waste of money because I barely game or do anything else than browse and the SSD brought me to the times with everything. And now that I am moving into another city for uni (80km from my hometown but I lack a license), I don't know if I should move my tower, get a laptop or simply build a new nice PC there and move my important data with an external HDD.

I mean actually screwing the SSD in is kinda impressive, most people just leave it hanging because it literally could not matter less.

they have really bad ghosting issues.

excuse me
We're talking about bad monitors?
I've got 2 Planar PL1700s.
[editline]25th August 2017[/editline]
We thought they broke because of this nasty little thing they do in power outages.
But nope, hold a specific button combo and they spring right back.
[editline]25th August 2017[/editline]
It's kinda like the Thinkpad of monitors but it's actually BAD

I'm in the market for a label maker, my current label maker prints labels that peel off almost immediately.
Looking at a Dymo Rhino 4200 or 5200, any other suggestions?

I like dymo hardware 'cause I've never had an issue with it, but the expensive ass-reels kind of tick me off
Brother ones work fine and the labels are cheaper using knockoffs, except they're weird with margins

Hence something like, most XPS's don't have much GPU firepower anyway but its a nice bar I can set if I was to get a fancy laptop.
Where do I go when I found a bug in chromium which can be used for denial of service in any app that embeds user content like discord/slack/steam etc :v:
edit: it also seems to completely fuck over the iOS messaging app and safari, this is like the effective power bug all over again

: )
I just tried to count all the storage in my home.
3TB + 750GB + 250GB SSD in my PC.
250GB SSD + 120GB SSD in my fathers new laptop.
250GB SSD in my mothers laptop
120GB SSD + 1TB in almost-my-laptop-but-not-completely
320GB in my grandparents current laptop + 160GB or so in their old (eww hp)
1TB external that I looted from my fathers old laptop.
500GB one that I looted from my mothers old laptop that was in the external case and now I think about putting it in my fathers old laptop.
somewhere, probably with my sister, should be a 500GB external.
somewhere, probably long lost, should be 2x laptop IDE externals, maybe one is completely lost and other is pretty much lost.
somewhere, probably in my drawers, should be a lot of old 2.5" IDE drives with unknown capacities.

You found a WebKit bug? Tell those 3DS hacking guys, they love those.
Report it to WebKit here: https://webkit.org/reporting-bugs/
