Someone is really trying to get into my steam account from 2009 with only a hour or two of TF2 gameplay.
For the "verified by Visa" thing I get, my bank asks for three random characters of a password I set up with them when I got my account.
The thing is, none of this was set up when I first got the card for whatever reason Immediately after purchase I'm redirected to "sketchysite.tk" and told to enter a bunch of personal information, which even if it's official looks so obviously like a phishing site it's not even funny It's no wonder people fall for phishing scams when the (apparently?) official channel for setting that up looks so horrendous and out of place
I hate the fact that X1 Carbons and X1 Yogas exist My Computer Blue Screens When I Dock It and Flimsy Folding 2101 M.2 SSD Detection Error just look light and futuristic which means that people gotta have them over the T460s. Which weighs the exact same but has a screen that doesn't make you want to wear Eclipse Glasses all the time because of flourescent light reflections as well as not having a systemboard made of kitchen sponge.

Ignoring the funny joke, I was actually considering trying one of these out. Even with a slow internal connection I would say they'd run pretty well, even seen stuff to backup those claims.
Why?
Because it's new and different. Colemak was due to someone making a typo on irc, blank keycaps is because some people at work need to look at the keys and it seems like it would be funny. Phone keyboard is purely to reduce dependency on qwerty.
I feel you, I have a hard time selling my T420.
I got mine for free at a junk day at a hacker space and budgeted $100 towards getting it to working condition. So far, just barely under budget but I got an ssd, hard drive bay, replacement pen and express card to usb. I doubt I'd be able to sell it so the best bet is probably for parts.
Not caring isn't necessarily the same as being stupid. What I care most about is screen real estate, having as much space to work in as possible. I'll sacrifice and pay less for a 21:9 or 4K screen that has light bleed than pay way more for something with the same resolution and no light bleed. Sometimes it's a priorities thing.
No, but anyone who is still connecting a TV up via composite in 2017 is stupid. I just wish manufacturing was at a point where they could make a cheap panel and not have that issue. LCD was meant to be superior to the CRT, but now we have backlight issues and high input latency so much so that they have to measure and put the number on the box so you can tell which one doesn't have that issue. I just wish they made an LCD that was 100% superior to a CRT in an affordable price range. Over 85hz at max res, no input lag, zero backlight bleed or bad viewing angles. But if I had to pick one, it would be zero backlight bleed. It's a shame Dell's OLED 4k monitor wasn't released in Australia, it's expensive, but I would have saved up for it. That's the sort of thing my mother would do and you have no idea how much trouble I had trying to explain how to plug in and use a USB scanner.

Wrote an email to my bank today Feels pretty wild finishing with "Please consider your users"
No, but anyone who is still connecting a TV up via composite in 2017 is stupid.
Or they have no choice. Thankfully older consoles have things like the framemeister
Or they have no choice. Thankfully older consoles have things like the framemeister
The snes works over the antenna cable interestingly enough
Now you have to explain the story don't leave us hanging man
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.commbank.netbank&hl=en#details-reviews
Oh, that is horrible.
Or they have no choice. Thankfully older consoles have things like the framemeister
I was more implying that if you have the option to HDMI with a DVD to LCD and choose composite, you are stupid. You said in one of your videos you make fun of people using VGA connections when they have other options.
Aight so I'm tired of carrying around two power adapters because I constantly switch between two computers, so I'm putting together an adjustable power supply to carry everywhere (at least 70W output @ 16V, ~130W @ 20V). Any suggestions for reliable (high mating cycles) yet small DC power connectors that can handle 7-10A continuous? The XT30 / XT60 is my waifu but using it for this application seems out of place, so I'm thinking maybe a decently sized barrel jack.

got my RX Vega 64 Sapphire today brb, burning the block where I live down

If I really want to get rid of it, the nearest hardware store will only take it for $ 175 mostly due to the shitty hungarian ValueAddedTax which is 27%.

Colemak is going well so far, should have the whole layout memorised by next monday, and apparently back up to full speed in 1-2 months if the internet is be believed. [t]https://www.helifreak.club/image/20170828105025344.png[/t] Did some typeracer to get a solid benchmark just in case I start to lose ability to type in QWERTY over time, kinda surprised that my accuracy actually went up that much since January. Certainly doesn't feel like it has.

Hmm Those are some big settings.
I'm guessing your used market isn't as good as here but over here I wouldn't buy a T420 in pretty much any configuration for 230
Why so? What do you suggest then? Is it that a sandy-bridge i5 isn't worthy nowadays? Edit: I'm really out of loop regarding how much intel hardware changed and I'm really curious.
You can buy a nice T430 for like $150 nowadays is why.
That's $190 here with 1366x768, 4gb ram and no dgpu. My T420 is superior in terms of ram, screen, and graphics, but oh well, I should just give up then.
