So diskpart tool on windows applies any changes to your disk immediately after entering a command. This is a disaster just waiting to happen...
DHL just texted me that a parcel has been express shipped from Singapore today and will arrive here tomorrow. I dunno what the fuck it is though.
Only thing I thought it could be was the keycaps but they still say awaiting fulfillment.

I love Telegram but mine is sitting at around 100.
Looks like I'm pulling apart my Vita this weekend.
Will have to wave goodbye to the 3G modem, but telstra is killing 3G off anyway.

What is the silver lining?
I already upgraded to something and still got told "lmao too old".
Fuck off. What am I made of? Money?

That wasn't even directed at you dude
if anything it's in your favor since we're agreeing the older versions of Adobe products are better in some ways
I have a CIPWTTKT story about myself.
PSA: When changing around Environmental Variables in Windows, be sure to set TEMP and TMP to AppData\Local\Temp instead of AppData\Local. It will break everything if you don't.

I typically go with the latest for the bug fixes, but as expected: each update opens up new bugs.
The only new thing that's useful in CC compared to CS6 for Premiere Pro is the new 360 degree video editing features, easy mode proxy making for your footage, new "Essential" sound, graphics folder for easier access of those things and support for newer video formats that have came out since the last CS6 update. Aside from that, everything seems to be more or less the same. The easy mode proxy making is the best new feature IMO.
For Lightroom, it would be support for newer cameras RAW formats and maybe some more stability.
For Photoshop, all I see is a new make new document screen.
I don't usually read changelogs for every Adobe product update, only the ones I use aka the ones above.

There's a great website called Tumblr where everyone literally tries to relate as many irrelevant problems as possible so people will give them attention.
Consider signing up for an account there, you'll do great!

I have an early Vita with OLED and an old firmware on, hasn't been connected to a wifi network in at least a couple of years - is it worth anything extra?

Is DHL as bad about destroying packages over there as they are here? I swear they assign a mandatory dropkick quota to their staff.
Would you believe people ship glass by DHL?
Also black smearing. I like OLED in all the devices I've had it, but it is not perfect and there's still a bit of ways to go.
That can be mitigated by always keeping all pixels powered at the lowest possible level - which is still really dark, and what implementors already do (especially in VR headsets).

US DHL took two weeks to ship stuff over here but every other branch of DHL has managed to get it here in a day or two. I figure due to proximity maybe the Canadian one also sucks.
Man, the Vita is a really impressive piece of hardware.
It's a fucking shame Sony messed up literally everything else and caused the Vita to be a failure.
I liked everything about the Vita except it being a Vita.
Touchscreen PSp, a fun touchpad etc. Seems like a really nice PDA.

Buy a mini card in future I guess. Zotac's ones seem to have little if any tradeoff.
Buy a mini card in future I guess. Zotac's ones seem to have little if any tradeoff.
The trade-off is less overclock potential because of the worse cooling, but if you're not planning on overclocking and your case is decently ventilated, it's not a big deal.

Maybe, you can't downgrade
If you want to sell it, it's best to offline update it to 3.60 for selling it as a homebrew device. There's Guides on how to do this

The firmware is all software based which makes it easy. Just a webkit exploit, the adapters are for using cheap, non Sony memory stick storage.
Shortly after Yifan started development for the adapter, sd card adapters released that use the game 'cartridge' slot, matching connectors. This allowed new vita models to have external storage.
Gotta run a plugin for any of these to work
Came home after running a quick errand and my cat was on my work laptop.
I left it logged in but locked. When I came back it was in BIOS.
Damn cat.

I did that with my phone cord today at work. I should really get a wireless headset for it but I'm hardly at the office.

My css file is about 400 lines, which the hard part is finding the right element, and trying to not break it
Today a user asked me for a lightning to HDMI adapter so I pulled one out of the bin which smelled kinda like chinesium.
To project the iphone to the TV, the process of this magnificent fucker is:
- Turn the TV on and switch it to the correct source.
- Open the Settings app.
- Turn on Personal Hotspot. (The user was on a cell plan that didn't allow it, so I had to switch their entire cell plan to 5GB Tethering using the website)
- Plug in the MicroUSB Power, Lightning input and HDMI output.
- Press "trust this computer" on the iPhone.
- The dongle now projects an instructions screen on the TV. You have to update the firmware by going to the IP address of the dongle to get to its web console, displayed in the lower right with no explanation, to make it work at all.
- Now you swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to bring up the control center, hit AirPlay and select the gibberish-named adapter.
- To its credit, the iPhone now projects and displays an acceptable 1080p output.
I never thought I would run into a display cable that would manage to be worse than DisplayPort. What a magnificent way to waste 20 minutes.
Worse than DisplayPort? Heresy, DisplayPort is god.

That's because Lightning doesn't support video out. All HDMI output devices run internal SOCs to convert on the fly. The official apple one (upon the iPhone 5 releasing, unsure about more recent models) only did 900p and had some significant artifacting due to the realtime transcoding to MPEG2, I believe. It was ridiculous.
Worse than DisplayPort? Heresy, DisplayPort is god.
I agree, I feel like they work more reliably if I pray hard enough.

Give me dual-link DVI or give me death. (Not knocking on the actual electronic standard, but if I see another bent-up displayport cable and corresponding destroyed port on the workstation...)
I have yet to use displayport over usb-c
I wonder if my phone supports it. But it's in the DP- specs
