Overclock that thing. Stock cooler will go to 3.7 GHz solid under anything bar prime 95 (which will make it over heat and turn off), after market should reach 3.9 - 4.0 GHz no problem.
I need +0.025v to push 3.6ghz and beyond, the power consumption rises significantly and heat production too. My current situation doesn't really allow me to push it that far, I'd rather continue with it cool and quiet. 3.4~3.5 were pretty comfortable spots too, but idk.

My Ryzen 5 1600 went to 3.8Ghz easy with less of a voltage bump than that.
I got my wisdom teeth out for free and I thought I had it bad because I have to pay for white (non-amalgam) fillings.
You're sure to be cleaning the area well, right? Have you checked your Xrays?
I do now, but when I was really really depressed I kinda gave up on brushing anything close to ass often as I should. The consequences of my (in)actions make themselves very well known. Double digit cavities and 4 agonizing wisdom teeth. Brush your teeth, kids. It's not worth it to be lazy.

At this point, I wish I did brush my teeth and go to the dentist when I was younger.

Bought a magstripe reader/writer on eBay. Didn't notice until after I had bought it that the seller had no ratings and I didn't pay for tracked postage. Well now it's shipped with no tracking, the seller has no items for sale under his account, and I may or may not be out $20.
Posting from A8-9600! Holy shit this thing is a real upgrade from the old T420 laptop, and things are actually silky smooth!

Ebay will be on your side even if you got it with tracking, received it, then broke it 4 months later.
oh my fucking god I only was given laughing gas and frozen. It was horrifying to be awake through it all, all the fucking crunching and breaking was disgusting.
oh my fucking god I only was given laughing gas and frozen. But then again they told me to expect those noises, maybe they forgot to mention it for you :v:
I had oral surgery when I was like 13 to cut a membrane above my lips that the doctors thought were pulling my top front two teeth apart. I was awake for the entire thing and I guess I was one of the best patients they've ever had. I ended up getting a metal plate glued to the back of my teeth to stop the drifting, but still.
aaaaaahhhhh We had a site's route get split because it fell across jurisdiction lines. So two folders were made in projectwise to reflect this. Then bossman purged the old directory. In its entirety. and didn't transfer any of the design files to the new folders because he assumed I had the originals. I never had the originals, I didn't make them. you FOOL you NUKED THEM ALL. BRB mirroring the entire projectwise directory tree locally because I'm a paranoid hoarding FUCK

To those that are actually employed as a IT Support person, I will love you forever if you help me with this assignment: Interview a technical support person. Locate a technical support worker at your school, your work, or a local company and set up an informational interview. Ask the support worker the following questions: 1. Using the categories of end users in Figure 1-2, how would you describe the users you support? 2. What types of software applications do you need to know in order to support users? 3. Do any users or applications present particularly difficult problems for a technical support worker? (Ask for a description of some difficult problems.) 4. Does the organization that employs you have policies on software piracy, invasion of privacy, and security threats? 5. Has cloud computing affected your job, and in what ways? 6. Can you provide a copy of your position description?
Environment: Personal (home) user or work (corporate, organizational, enterprise) user Skill level: Novice, semiskilled, or expert Frequency of use: Occasional, frequent, or extensive Software use: Word processing, email, accounting, or others (see “End-User Application Software” in this chapter) Features used: Basic, intermediate, or advanced (power users) Relationship: Internal user (coworker) or external user (client)
Figure 1-2 Does not need to be super long, just some info for me to push out a piece of paper.

ASUS released a new x370 prime bios. Now I'm able to hit 2800mhz, vs 2666. With all the proper timings. But even with 2T and like 26, 26, 26, 26, 44 timings, 2933 is not possible right now. I did notice better fps in OW, I normally average like 140-150, I did a full QP game and usually was over 190-200. I'll need to maybe run a fraps bench to check. I'm considering buying a properly approved 3200 2x16GB kit and maybe selling you all or someone else my current 2x16 kit. [editline]8th September 2017[/editline] Damn, I managed to boot and play OW at 2933. Seeing 220-230 most times in QP. Need to run a longer game perhaps to see how much better it is.
4. Does the organization that employs you have policies on software piracy, invasion of privacy, and security threats?
Wasn't employed but fucking microsoft [editline]8th September 2017[/editline]
1. Using the categories of end users in Figure 1-2, how would you describe the users you support? We supported mostly Personal users, there may have been third party users that represented a business using the platform, but this information is not defined to use in the program. The Skill level and Frequency of use were quite varied, as the support program was covering a gaming console, and it would be hard to pinpoint an appropriate class of user. 2. What types of software applications do you need to know in order to support users? We needed to know how to use a web browser to browse documentation of the service to debug and provide assistance to the problem. The web browser was also the primary tool for communicating with the end-users. In previous iterations of the program, Windows Messenger was used for handing tickets 3. Do any users or applications present particularly difficult problems for a technical support worker? (Ask for a description of some difficult problems.) In one instance, I took a ticket for fixing a software issue that was outside the scope of the platform, the customer also had some problems with other support channels. We eventually got the software working again after about 45 minutes fortunately. 4. Does the organisation that employs you have policies on software piracy, invasion of privacy, and security threats? Yes. 5. Has cloud computing affected your job, and in what ways? Cloud computing has made the program a lot easier for upkeep and further developing of the tools being made to support it. 6. Can you provide a copy of your position description? 5 Year Tenure in the Xbox Ambassador Program
Hopefully that's good enough

How can I make Windows 8.1 actually hibernate on my Surface Pro 1 when I close the lid/press the power button? Got issues with it eating my steam/discord notifications that should be going to my phone when it's "asleep". So I either gotta shut it down and close all my shit, or it just stays on with the screen off because Microsoft doesn't know what "sleep" is.
Can't you put it so sleep manually/via key combination?
