I’ve got a $3.50/mo vps that literally does nothing but host discord bots and a personal webpage that serves a single static image [editline]10th September 2017[/editline] Also we didn’t win anything at the hackathon lmao
Is there a way to change what colour Chrome defaults to when it's closing a tab? I use dark themes and each time I close a tab, it flashes white, then goes to the next tab which is also using a dark theme.
[QUOTE=helifreak;52668205]Here's dirt cheap. [t]https://www.helifreak.club/image/20170910205450519.png[/t][/QUOTE] Bought this for shits and giigles and holy fuck, it has apache and email and some other shit preinstalled. Also defaults to PW authentication. This is terrible.

[QUOTE=helifreak;52669990]Welcome to Ubuntu.[/QUOTE] I have been using Ubuntu a lot and never have I had port 25 open by default on a server install.
[QUOTE=Genericenemy;52668461]Dump the NAND, and use Cleanrip to rip disks. Most games rigs should be able to handle Dolphin just fine.[/QUOTE] I've used two candles placed next to each other in a pinch before :v:

Don't expect too much, as expected the processing is fairly slow and their images are weird. Also, no PTR record.
I kinda want to get a machine to run a personal web server/game server/image host on but I'm poor as fuck, where do I go? Western half of US mandatory.
I'm always a fan of DigitalOcean. That's what I run all my websites off of as well as other random projects while I'm working on them. They've got a SanFran location for you as well.
[QUOTE=ballads;52670585]My final Choice [url]https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154283[/url] will be getting in march before my trip to hawaii.[/QUOTE] I'd go for a laptop with a single 1080 rather than a SLI setup. The SLI won't work half the time and can hurt performance in some titles.

They have cheaper ones (if you can find them in stock - that's the gotcha) that are $2.50 a month, have 20GB of storage, 1 CPU, 512MB RAM and 500GB bandwidth too.

Dell Prosupport with mission critical is OP. Drive just failed and I'll have a new one delivered within 4 hours. [editline]11th September 2017[/editline] Woo, already got in and swapped.
What's the best self-hosting image solution to put on my webzone? Pomf has too much anime built in. Just want something I can really easily upload stuff to from my phone and get links to share with.

Bad reading. I just upload stuff via an ftp app on my phone and add the filename after my domain on mobile.

I'd prefer something that provides me with a bbcode or direct link after uploading.

I was a certified HP Repair Tech for Notebooks and Desktops in 2015 for 3M when I was a contractor there. We never had to deal with that shit we just diagnosed and RMA'd parts, we almost always had a handful of each part for each model on hand and we got a replacement for each RMA eventually. I wonder if that "Cert" is still active. It technically had no expiration date... :v:
Dell's next day part shipping has always been on point in my experiences. Pretty easy to go through too though every once in a while you get the tech that won't just send you the damn part and wants to go through a bunch of remote diagnostics.

I know if you cut a bit of plastic out of an x8 slot so an x16 card will fit, it'll work, just at x8 speed.

I mean, they do extend like half a centimeter upwards.

When the card is fully seated in a slot, the upper part of the connector makes the contact, so there's a good chance the damages are not affecting anything at all.
[QUOTE=wingless;52671965]It looks like a cat gnawed on it, how does that happen.[/QUOTE] I'm no longer surprised by a cat gnawing on literally anything. You could tell me a cat bent your LGA pins while your processor was installed with a heatsink on top of it and I would be unfazed.
