First off I think I should just put it out there that this isn't some kind of contest of who can show the other up, we're trying to help the OP out. Acting smug and making snide comments isn't going to help anyone.
Hey, i'm just trying to spread some knowledge around. Comparing GPUs by their specs directly is exactly what people shouldn't do, it just leads to false expectations. Look for benchmarks instead, those can usually give you a better idea of the card's performance. The "being smug" part was just a response to your "being a knowitall" attitude.
Second of all, what you've just said changes nothing, since its not like his GPU has crappy clock speeds/bus width/etc but has an insane amount of stream processors, everything's still to scale. His card was not made for gaming. Period.
I think we've already established that his GPU is crappy.
Last but not least, the amount of RAM is always relevant in todays gaming world, many games push the limit on 1GB of VRAM. Game's like Crysis still perform below many people's standards with 1GB of VRAM. People SLI/Crossfire two or even 3 GPU's together and still don't get the performance they want, and you're arguing that his card should somehow be capable of running Crysis at a normal framerate?
I didn't, in any way whatsoever, mention that his GPU is any good at all. It's true that many games today require large amounts of VRAM. What i wanted to say is, more RAM does not necessarily equal a faster card. For example, let's say you have 3 equal cards, just with different amounts of memory: 256MB, 1GB, 2GB; and you try to play Crysis on them. The 1GB version will perform better than the 256MB one, but the 2GB one will perform just about the same as the 1GB version, because it doesn't have anything to do with that extra gig of memory.
Thats not a dx11 card..
Sure you do. You aren't getting any better than playable low settings with that G210 of yours.
I'm able to play pretty much any other game on medium to high settings perfectly fine. Like ME2, or Just Cause 2 etc... I'm not going to buy another one if I'm able to play most recent games perfectly fine.

it's not your pc it's the damn game engine you need the latest hardware components and a shitload of RAM to work crysis with high settings that game is well know for having a lot of issues like overheating to get burn PCs and Lags in some places that's the reason crytek made cryengine 3 forget that game seriously just play the other games you have otherwise if you really want to play crysis you will need more than a alienware pc you will need a NASA/Military pc

Either way, get the fuck out.
