It's a parody account.
Is there an app on Cydia that enables the wallpapers and multitasking? I'm too afraid to edit my plist file.

BossPaper (better than winterboard for this), and Backgrounder. Or Multifl0w if you ahve the Sinful repo, much nicer.
Multifl0w works on iOS 4? O.o
[editline]04:05PM[/editline]
Iiiiiiit does not.
This fucked up my iPod Touch the first time I tried it. Should I try it again? :ohdear:

Tits. I forgot to double check that.
there is a simple theme called "iTouch enable multitask background" or something theme for winterboard
This is probably the easiest way I've ever seen to jailbreak a iPhone.

Hey I've never really read into this jailbreaking shit, what the fuck did I just do to my iPhone 3G :v:? When I press on the Cydia app it flies up then disappears.
[editline]12:42AM[/editline]
never minds working now.
[editline]12:48AM[/editline]
dumb question, but does jailbreaking make you lose access to some things that are usually with the phone, ie the normal app store or the default texting app :downs:
[QUOTE=Hufterkruk;23777580]Can't get MobileTerminal to work, it just opens for about a second then closes again. I'm on an iPod touch 2G by the way.[/QUOTE]
If you're on iOS 4.0, then add Xsellize repo and search for Mobile Terminal.
Just jailbroke my iPhone 4 with this. While the website was on the actual jailbreaking bit, the progress bar froze about half way through. I exited safari ready to try it again but I noticed that Cydia was there and it had actually worked. Ridiculously simple jailbreak.

Its not. Everyone knows Steve Jobs has a twitter feed.

Jailbreaks are pure positives. You keep everything you normally have, but gain the ability to run unauthorized code. Hell, some extensions override some parts of default apps to improve them.

Sucks for people working at Apple stores right now.[/QUOTE]
Yeah its fun to you but the employees have to waste their time and it confuses customers. I wish people would stop doing it.

You may wish that, but it won't stop anything. People are like that, get used to it

If an apple employee has to stay late to restore iphones then he would profit from people jail-breaking the display iphones. He would be paid to do it.
since when did you have to pay for gpSPhone >< I want my GBA emulator

What about MC model's
I have a Ipod 2G MC Model 4.0
Would it work on that?

Yes, thats the same model as me
I got on the jailbreaking scene back in the days of 2.x, back when we only had the tethered jailbreak. This makes me think "Damn, kids have it easy these days" but then I remember that this is how it was back on 1.x
[QUOTE=Tk1138;23885822]Yes, thats the same model as me[/QUOTE]
Thank's for clearing that up
I've jailbroken my Ipod before but this time I really don't feel like losing my game saves and more importantly my network settings (WEP keys, SSID, etc) on my Ipod before I buy OS4. Is there a way to avoid that when I upgrade and jailbreak?

Before you update iTunes should give you the option to back up.
Itunes refused to see the Ipod unless I put it into dfu mode so never mind.
Thanks though.
