80c is more 'ideal' than 70.
Your backwards. The card can hold it yes.BUT why run hotter?70c is more ideal than 80c. Get your logic straight.

Get your logic straight.
my backwards? where is my backwards? 80c is ideal, 70 is nothing to worry about at all. same with 80c. Any higher i would worry a bit. &, set your fan to stock, stop putting it to the highest. When did i say slow it down? :saddowns: :eng99: I should give up, I can't help somebody that stubborn. :eng99: :( [editline]07:12PM[/editline]
....what? You're right. I should turn down my fan speed and MAKE my graphics card run hotter. After all, according to your logic running it at 80C instead of 70C or any other lower temp would be "ideal". [editline]10:55PM[/editline] btw i run mine at 50c on load
It's ideal to have less noise, and a safe temperature. wait, i guess it isn't. damn it!
80c is more 'ideal' than 70.
Right there.Your backwards.Should be 70c is more ideal than 80c.
Thanks. After i booted my fan speed from 40 to 60% it took 20c off the idle temps.I was completely impressed.
I was being sarcastic. I can drop the fan speed on mine to 25% and it doesn't get above 45 on idle.
When playing gta it got to 70c. What is the temperature at which it is damaging the card? I would imagine it is damaging the card at a range before the shutdown temperature. Also setting the same to 50% really helped. Went from 60c+ in FO3 to 50c-55c. Seems that even when it was at 60c the auto was still at 34-35.
it should be below 90C
