I've had a fairly pleasant experience with Zune - it's not bad, and it's not that good. One thing that annoys me to hell, is that there isn't gapless playback. I like the software, but damn this can go suck a cock. Dark side of the moon is pretty much ruined by this, though I still listen to it.
Eh, Zune suffers from the same shit as iTunes IMO - it focuses on everything BUT music playback and it ends up being a hassle to use. And there's no excuse for either media player to have performance issues on an i5 2500k.
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1166612 It's likely that the same will be released on Windows Phone.
Jesus christ so many awesome shit for Windows Phone! Now, I'm expecting details about tango (if they added some extra features we are all getting)

The issues tend to be mostly with them dangling features in front of me but not giving them fully. I guess comes from being only in a partially supported region.
Anything on Valve possibly making a Steam app for WP7?
Anything on Valve possibly making a Steam app for WP7?
Nothing new yet. Also been testing the beta skype client. A couple of problems (including one big one) but otherwise eems to be on the right track. Plus hey it's beta software. a) Lack of tile notifications b) no filtering in the online list. I can't see actually who's online and offline c) can't change my own online status d) skype doesn't have an option to disable the lockscreen yet e) my biggest caveat for now. I can't seem to get the mic to work. I can hear the other side fine but they can't hear me. Might be some setting error I've not noticed though. But overall considering it's beta software it works very snappy and fast.

Which phone do you have, there's a list of phones with issues on the Skype forum (if you go to the settings menu there's a link there)
It's actually funny. The lumia 800 is supposed to be flawless. Problem still happens. And thanks - I found it myself in the end. But it's pretty out of the way for a pretty important feature. EDIT Mic was fixed by signing in and out to a new profile then back to the old one
It's actually funny. The lumia 800 is supposed to be flawless. Have you had either of these on yours?
Anything on Valve possibly making a Steam app for WP7?
I don't think Valve'll make one yet, not enough people really have a Windows Phone - I've started making one though. Where is Windows 8 Phone? Will it launch with Windows 8 for PC?
My ZTE Blade is starting to age, most noticeable in the battery (8 and ½ hours with minimal to no usage) and I'm thinking of getting a Lumia 800. Recommended?
You could also wait for the 900 which will be out soon or in a few months time.
You could also wait for the 900 which will be out soon or in a few months time.
I find the issue with the 900 the screen size. It's just far far too big. If they instead had the 800's form factor with the features the 900 has. Now that would be bloody amazing. Also seems like the is12t is actually finally coming to the EU http://wmpoweruser.com/fujitsu-looking-to-bring-the-is12t-to-spain-germany-and-uk/
Getting an HTC HD7S hopefully next week!

Good news for Lumia 800 guys: http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/06/lumia-800-update-triples-battery-life/
Tripled?! Holy shit.
Yeah waiting for the EU zune update (as opposed to doing it myself via cabs) but heard the discharge on idle went from 150 to 50
The 710 isn't any different from the 800 save for the screen and camera, right?
The 710 isn't any different from the 800 save for the screen and camera, right?
Well, other than pretty much the whole phone, save for the OS, yeah, it is.
The 710 isn't any different from the 800 save for the screen and camera, right?
display type Memory size Battery type Body construction Price Camera I think those are the difference. Not sure if the chips on them are different or not. I think they're the same. Also both have gorilla glass so it shouldn't be so bad no matter what you get.
Well, other than pretty much the whole phone, save for the OS, yeah, it is.
I mean for the specs like CPU and stuff.
I mean for the specs like CPU and stuff.
The CPU and RAM is the same, but the camera, display and probably some other stuff is pretty radically different. They're as different as Windows Phones are. That's not much, but it's something.
any idea when this big update will be released?
One of my friends got a Nokia Lumia 800 yesterday, and one of my other friends is getting his today. My brother (who was in the TDC shop a few days ago) got told that they're literally flying off the shelves here in Denmark. Supposedly their top-selling phone right now, though I find it a little hard to believe.
