It annoys me even more when people buys it and they take pictures of themselves by holding it with one hand in the air.

The manual setting goes as far as 'hurr what do you want to focus on durr'

And this is why I'm glad I have a SLR, and not a DLSR, to use. I have to have a general idea of what I'm doing. But I even have my point and shoot on manual....

also yea, most people who buy an entry level dslr won't need more than the kit lens

I know a girl at school who has a Nikon DSLR all to herself, and she uses her camera phone because the nikon is "too big". I offered to trade her my compact Canon but she refused. She also has multiple $500 Louis Vuitton purses that she doesn't use because they're too small. The only reason I talk to her is because she is adorable
