Go to log onto the school computers, Username / Password Incorrect It turns out that everyone's username is no longer made from their name, it's now just a 6 digit number So I now have to use 198561 or something to login, which is a pain to remember Oh and when I try to open IE [IMG_thumb]http://i56.tinypic.com/2gueixt.jpg[/IMG_thumb] :gonk:
nice wallpaper for a school, and you have office 2010!
We can actually suggest a wallpaper to get chosen for every PC in the school [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] And yeah, office is always latest, we've got Adobe Masters Suite CS4 and pretty much every Autodesk program available (At school and to download at home)
We get office, adobe suite, and full administrative rights. We can do everything. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] :3:
this wallpaper discussion reminds me, on the imacs at my school they have it so you cant change the wallpaper using the system for it in the OS. the solution: firefox, right click and "set as background"
In my school, the library computers has a picture of 9/11 twin towers burning with the caption "Best day ever".
If only that was the case with my 4870. If anyone posts a picture of a HD 4870 on air cooling at room temperature I'm gonna drop a cup of cold water on my head, punch myself in the balls and say "I love enchiladas". Wait, someone already did this... Oh well. HD 4870s have some kind of onboard computer that makes the fan noisy and the temperature as high as possible.
At idle, stock XFX 4870: Get that cup of water ready
Either your AC is broken, or you've put your thermostat too high, because that isn't room temperature.
Most Brits don't have AC. Our country is the AC. But even with the heating on that should not have that big an effect.

So I noticed something today. When you're being watched by the system admin from his office, remotely, a command prompt appears on your screen. I began to type an extremely long novel of the thoughts and feelings of a slug as it has to travel from Hong Kong to Moscow. I will be using excruciating amounts of detail, describing every cell of it's being moving across the ground. Lets see how long it takes before the command prompt goes away.
In our school the screen flashes, so then I started writing my essay on 1984 and downloading pictures of the book
Offtopic: but the film from 1984 based on it is very good and thought-provoking.
I liked the book better. I always like the book better. fork while fork Overheard this morning from some sort of computer course (I'm not taking the course, I was waiting for my class to start):
Prof: If you get a virus, a window might pop up telling you you have a virus. It's usually a virus. Student: How do you know when it's a real alert then? Prof: YOU WON'T EVER KNOW (yelled this). That's why you use Internet Explorer. It's really secure. Other Student: What about Firefox and Chrome? Prof: They download viruses automatically in the form of add-ins.
I stopped listening after that because I had to go the restroom to laugh hysterically. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] 2 girls are discussing about how videogames make you more violent. I really'd like to tell her to present actual proof to her opinion.
Athlon IIs have some incredibly low temps. My friend has that exact CPU in a CM 300 and it runs at 24°c when stressed at 100% on stock cooling. Oh and, Radeon HD 4200 and 1280*1024 resolution :froggonk:
my Athlon II does 27 on load and it's currently clocked at 3.6 GHz, but I'm not using the stock cooler.
