It's not like GameStop sounds any better.
for whatever reason when I hear "boutique" I hear "hair stylist and/or pink things"
The word means shop, but it's been associated with that kind of stuff.
Boutique sounds girly to apparently sexist me.
circuit city is totally gone here.
Circuit City went bankrupt.
-snip first part- Content so it counts: My friend asked me to create a logo for his youtube channel in blender. He asked me to put his name on the black ops logo. He was content with one picture, i didn't even need to use blender to make it. Yes, it's that same buddy i have told you about before. And yes he still believes he will make hundreds of dollars from his lets play channel
Nope, it says "Enter the Dragonfly"
3 is year of the dragon. enter the dragonfly is 4 (first one not created by insomniac, first one that sucked)
Well since we're all talking about consoles an shit, I have a bit of a problem. I don't play my consoles anymore (of which I have a 360, a PS3 60GB launch model and a silver slimline PS2) because I just can't stand the downgrade in GFX. For example, ever since I got involved in PC gaming (i.e. to the point where I'd build my own machine), I've become used to the high detail/gfx etc. When I play a console game, to me, a lot of that has been lost. What do I do?

It probably won't help you all that much but it sure as hell will help you appreciate how far we've come. Plus you also get to play some classic games.
Circuit City went bankrupt.
oh I remember I got like a single good deal from them, everything was always overpriced.
I remember something from a while ago, at my local Wal-Mart I noticed something strange in the PC games section. Between all the Sims 2 and 3 expansions , I notice a crowbar. I bend down to see what it is. I see it's a collection of a bunch of HL games : HL itself (duh), HL2 and Episode 1. At this point I was like :buddy: Then I looked at the price, 64.95$. My face went :wtc: FYI, this was back in 2009.
I noticed the Gamecube sitting in the corner with some controllers and a pile of games. So I got rid of it minus a few games like Worms 3D, Animal Crossing and 007 Agent Under Fire (We own a Wii to play them in). I never got into the Zelda games, I hated the 3D version of Metroid (Loved the two games on our GBA SP) and didn't really like SSBM. I have fond memories of playing 007 Agent Under Fire with my two brothers and a friend down the street and Worms 3D was awesome since we only had one controller when we bought it.

They must assume that "an old game" = "valuable collector's item".

I remember playing pokemon firered when I was like 8. I would play until ~1:00 and I couldn't save because it was my brothers game. Must've made it to cinnabar island atleast 20 times. Once, I stayed up until 5:30 playing it.

I have one old atari 2600 game that is just rare enough that I could sell it for $1! I'm gonna be rich!
Speaking of which, I have a copy of Half-Life: GOTY Edition, in box, with manual. Wonder how much it would be worth...
They must assume that "an old game" = "valuable collector's item".
I don't know what's their definition of "old". I saw Red Dead Redemption marked as "New" on the shelves today.

Others are showing ~$20. Which is about double what I paid for it. I think I'll keep it, though. The box looks nice.

My local gaming store has a truly pathetic PC gaming section. They must of had about just under 30 different titles. MW2 & COD:BlOps 3 sports titles All Blizzard games, WoW onwards All Sims 2 and 3 expansion pack (but not the base games) 5 or 6 pre2002 shovelware titles Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Theme Hospital They honestly had more PS2 titles than they did total PC game disks. What I want to know is did: a) Steam's (or any other PC digital download service) success cause reduced sales at retail, causing retailers to reduce stock. b) The popularity of console gaming causing retailers to reduce stock, causing digital downloading services to become very popular. Rate for a, [img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] for b and for a pretty much equal balance of the two. But what gets me so annoyed is that now retailers are complaining about games which are incorporating steam are going to ruin their sales, even though they have been ditching PC support slowly but surely over the past few years.
13.
Explains how you wound up with that title.
