It always annoys me when people complain about games being capped at 60fps. As if you can actually tell the difference between that and anything higher.

You really don't notice if your monitor only refreshes at 60Hz, like mine does. You would, however, if it refreshed at a higher rate then that. A 14 year old spoiled boy with a rich dad asked me to upgrade his computer or give him advice on a new better one for gaming. He's got a Compaq notebook with a dual core 2GHz 3 GB ram and and 32 bit OS... I'll tell him that Alienware is great value for money

It's not like it will make a difference if his dads rich.

I can tell the difference between 60 and 120, i was playing L4D2 on PC then my friend came over with his xbox and he started playing and it looks so laggy because i'd been playing 120+fps

Btw i get 60 fps in gmod, all settings at max. Is that good or bad for an i5-460m and nvidia geforce gt 420m laptop? /shameless question in the wrong thread But atleast we're on the subject of fps.

Yeah that's not bad for a laptop. Hell, I get less then 60 on my desktop at not even max settings... Damn you shitty GPU and 300w PSU..
