With enough money, you can sue anyone.
Only in America
I usually don't care about this kind of stuff, but my roommate started going out of his way to tell me that his xbox is immeasurably better than my computer. He found me playing Minecraft a few days ago. Apparently my computer is shit because minecraft doesn't look as nice as... halo reach... Out of nowhere he asked me how much hard drive space I had, 1 terabyte. He says that terabyte hard drives make games run slower because the "cpu has to look through all the data on the hard drive, and find the exact info needed every time it wants to pull a bit from it". He literally thinks that having a 20gb hard drive on his xbox makes it faster and makes games look nicer "because it can pull the graphics faster". I tried showing him that my computer is actually more capable than his xbox by just showing him my framerate in Fallout New Vegas at max settings, at a higher resolution than his TV. He insisted that the xbox used higher settings. His reason was that "the edges of things are way too smooth, on xbox they look more crisp". He's talking about my AA being on so high. He also thinks graphics cards are useless because "the xbox doesn't need one". :sigh: It sucks though, cause he doesn't say this stuff aggressively. He just says it like he's trying to teach me. So fucking frustrating. Like in Dead Space 2, V-sync caps it at 30. What if you have a refresh rate that's not a multiple of 30?

Marvelous, getting my new GTX 570 tomorrow hopefully. This will bring my rig up-to-date in the GPU department as well :D Rig: i7 950 (clocked to 3.8GHz) 6GB 1600MHz DDR3 And a measly 9600GT, I myself consider the GTX 570 to be a perfect replacement.

on a completely unrelated note, http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp just leaving this here
My school has something called Novell NetStorage on their site. It allows students to access their documents from home...it also allows them to access the file system. Students have write permission on the K: drive. That's the drive where the website is stored. If I was evil I would be all over this.
on a completely unrelated note, http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp just leaving this here
That's just the people who visit that website. If someone is interested in web development, they would have a higher probability of using a different browser.
Here it's $90 for a 90/90Mbit :frown: Where in the world are you?
$50 for 9/0.7MBit and 50GB usage.
HL2DM is boring as hell
You mean you don't take great pleasure from killing someone with a toilet? What is wrong with you!

Guy1: Hey did you hear about how cold it is gonna get tonight? Guy2: Yea it's gonna suck. Guy1: Not for me. I'm overclocking my PC to keep me warm. Guy2: Damn that's pretty smart. I'll have to set an alarm to wake up in the middle of the night to do that. Guy1: I don't, I setup a gui interface that will activate the overclocking and lower fan speed at the time I want. THESE ARE THE EXACT FUCKING WORDS THAT I HEARD. I was so shocked I had to write it down so someone could find it if I were to shoot myself.

I often tell others I warm myself using my GTX 480 at night.
I don't know how many of you guys know this already, but today on my GPU-Z I noticed that there was an extra tab on there, and it appears to be some sort of giveaway. [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] can't hurt to try, right? [editline]wfe[/editline] oh wow it's not even valid anymore I feel dumb

My cousin's Powercolor Radeon 4850 died after a month or two.

HAHAhahahaha, oh god. So, my aunt's friend was looking for a recipe and posted about it on my aunt's facebook, someone said "why don't you google it", and she mentioned she didn't know how to use google. I figured this would be as good a time as any to use LMGTFY.com to explain how it works, so I set up the process and posted the link. She posted up a few minutes later: I opened the page and tried typing but then it started to type then hit search all by itself! HELP!!!!
Do you have a bandwidth cap?
600 GB, but we never get up there. Acutally, we almost did when my old friend was watching about 200GB of [sp]Shemale[/sp] porn @ 3:00 AM. On my PS3 that was TWO DAYS OLD AND I DIDN'T SET A PASSWORD ON IT. 550/600 GB was used. It was all videos. Thank god he moved back to Ohio.
lol, no. You were getting ripped off before, now you're getting ripped off slightly less.
Compare it to the rest of my country and I'm doing well.
That would only be a good deal in Egypt, where there is no internet access currently.

That +20GB you might download after reaching the bandwidth cap doesn't even cost them a single cent. In fact, a customer downloading 1GB and another downloading 1TB per month costs the same for them. Data (or Information) =/= Electricity, gas, water, fuel, etc.
