http://www.phoboslab.org/ztype/ It's difficult to play at the later levels, though fun as hell was made using HTML5.
Showed it to my mom and had a duel. 25 for me, 47 for her. I love my mom :buddy: And I love this game.
That's not content, that's lack of AA
I'm talking about that you though that your TV was broken because there was no AA/motionblur. :downs:
Use http://play.typeracer.com , it's a fun little game while testing your WPM.
98 WPM with touch typing. I always make the mistake of pressing a letter before the one I should. Half of the time I would type WPM as WMP. :smith:
I'm talking about that you though that your TV was broken because there was no AA/motionblur. :dumb:
No, it's because it was a low quality compared to garry's mod on highest settings.
Pagefix. Content: i recently returned to halo reach after an extended period of garrys mod on highest settings. Im like "wut this looks shit! No anti-aliasing that i can notice, no motion blur, wth!" During a short moment of confusion i actually thought that something was seriously wrong with my tv. I also spoke this in matchmaking, in mid-game. It wasnt pretty. I seem to recall someone saying something along the lines of "dude, its completely impossible that a game for pc would look better than a game for xbox. The xbox contains top-of-the line tech that no modern pc can match." There were also a lot of "lol ur dumb", "pc fanboi" and a bunch of betrayals, but i was just so shocked by the difference. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] Pagefix got ninja'd
but it's true exbawx is god teer grafix :downs:
No, it's because it was a low quality compared to garry's mod on highest settings.
:gonk: [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] Anyway, how about a TypeRacer match? http://play.typeracer.com/?rt=trvistapowa
:gonk:
The proper response if you don't agree is .
Anyway, how about a TypeRacer match? http://play.typeracer.com/?rt=trvistapowa
I tried but the damn thing wants CAPITALIZATION :saddowns:
The proper response if you don't agree is .
I'm gonna tip you off: you have zero ability to tell when someone is fucking around/being sarcastic. If you just feel the slightest tingling of sarcasm, don't reply.
Had Type-To-Learn in elementary school :smug: definitely payed off
nah. I taught myself to touch type sort of from hunt'n'pecking. Just evolved over time, I guess. I can get a cool 120 wpm or so. I completely ignore the home keys and that stuff, I just put my hands where they are needed, it makes my typing a lot more flexible. Really just keep at it and you'll learn to be better, it's just natural evolution.
I learned how to type from playing mulitplayer FPS games when I was like 9. Gotta learn how to type fast or you'll die. :v:
Had Type-To-Learn in elementary school :smug: definitely payed off
We had Type To Learn 3 in Elementary, have Microtype in Middle School.
When I was just a wee lad I tried to learn to type on Timon and Pumbaa typing. It didn't work out in the end, but the game was really good at its job.
I learned how to type from playing mulitplayer FPS games when I was like 9. Gotta learn how to type fast or you'll die. :v:
I started when I was 8 :smug:
I started when I was 8 :smug:
You're 13 years old, it doesn't count.
Almost at 100 WPM :buddy:
You're 13 years old, it doesn't count.
Wait wut? How does my current age change what age I started playing FPSes?
I learned how to type from playing mulitplayer FPS games when I was like 9. Gotta learn how to type fast or you'll die. :v:
This, except I was 3. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] quake 3 arena like a boss
Do you think it's a problem when it comes to touchtyping that I have extraordinaly long fingers? My index finger's 12cm long. It just feels cramped on the home row, and it's quite uncomfortable for me to hold my fingers on the "home" row. Also, for some reason, I can't move my ring finger without moving my pinky. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline]
Almost at 100 WPM :buddy:
50WPM without touch-typing, 15 WPM with it.
gamestop are shitheads this is why i buy on ebay and amazon
I like Gamestops shipping. I ordered a game which was SUPPOSED to be delivered approximately 5-10 days after a 2 day processing period, and for some reason, I received it after 2 days of waiting.
http://www.phoboslab.org/ztype/ It's difficult to play at the later levels, though fun as hell was made using HTML5.
I got to wave 42, then quit because I was bored. I want to start at something more challenging like wave 200 or something like that.

That game's a real pain, as usually you don't have to type things such as commas or capitalize letters. Also on my TV I can't see if it's a comma or a dot. Averaged 66. :frown:
I went to school in Korea for 12 years there it's like get 100+ wpm to pass (I was in 4th grade)
On typeracer: Avg: 65 WPM, Best: 77 WPM. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline]
I went to school in Korea for 12 years there it's like get 100+ wpm to pass (I was in 4th grade)
I remember I had Korean friends when I was in grade 4 that were about 70-80 WPM when I was only about 20. I was jelly.
My local gamestop a.k.a EBGames, stopped selling PC games when they released the PS3 :saddowns: [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] also why does the french version of typeracer count shit in characters per minute instead of WPM :frog:

That's probably just the standard used over their so they assume that's what you want.
I can type relatively fast if its coming straight from my head If im copying im fucked
I can type relatively fast if its coming straight from my head If im copying im fucked
I can type really fast with backspace or if it allows errors. That typing race thing doesn't allow errors, but my school's program does. Also, for some reason, sometimes my mouse randomly clicks and sends me back in the text, so I sometimes get text in the wrong place.
CR48 is so nice. I'm on it right now. It's beautiful. I'm so jealous right now, oh god the keyboard feels amazingly awesome great. Wish there was an SSH app for it.
