No, he's a perfectly trustworthy person. He have contributed to the Xbox and Wii hacking scene for quite a bit. Everyone makes mistakes, deal with it.
I installed Firefox on my Mother's laptop a few weeks ago and she's just using Ie8 now.
When I asked her why, she just said: "It's because Firefox made the computer slow after you installed it and when I use Internet Explorer it makes it go faster."
She also installed a trial of Norton after I installed a full copy of Avast, that I bought for her.
I'm going to get my dad to talk some sense into her. :sigh:
Your mom is a bitch

Hacking isnt really considered a trust worthy task.

People who are capable of working with reverse engineering are much trustworthy and knowledgeable than your average coder, what are you talking about?

Just because someone can write a script doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.

Not from the eyes of Microsoft and Nintendo they arent.

They may "hate" them, but you would be very surprised on how they really think of them.
Congrats on getting GM btw

You goto wait half an hour or so, The script runs every 20 minutes or so, If I remember.
You know the guy who's "developing" the "Sparkbrowser"
I commented on his vid, saying it was bullshit, that it was VB, and that the base is Internet Explorer. (Looked like it.)
He responded with this on my profile:
where did you get the idea that it uses internet explorer? *
on the website it explicitly states that sparkbrowser uses webkit
you are a failure
So I PM'd him
Even if it wasn't Visual Basic, the Webkit is even worse, because it's basically a drag-n-drop interface where you can change certain lines.
Your browser still sucks, and it still uses Internet Explorer as a base (because Webkit does).
This is a fact, nobody except extremely stupid people are going to download this thing.
And you do not have 30,000 downloads on it either. If you did, you would have a magnificent amount of subscribers and viewers on youtube, which you don't.
Don't fool yourself into something stupid. Believe me, I've been in your position. "Coding" things, thinking I was cool and thinking people liked what I made. Turns out what you are doing is the exact. same. thing. So just stop now before you completely embarrass yourself.

if you dont want to pay money for the browser, download the BETA older version which doesnt have encryption or dual webkit
thousands of people are willing to pay for this browser, if you dont like it, dont download it.
you seem really confused about programming, there are lots of good videos on youtube that explain about visual basic and webkit, you should look in to those
He is actually demanding money for that piece of crap! :v:
What a nut.
Though I do have a suspicion that Spark browser is just one huge joke.
the download will be 10.99 starting in 2011
the download link on the site doesn't work anymore because we are releasing a new version for 2011
our server keeps ip adresses of everyone who clicks download,
you seem to be jealous because you dont have a sick web browser
Ah. AhAahahAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Oh, man... this guy...
Is he thick enough to have registered as a company? If so, someone should file against him for false representation (I think you can do it against individuals but I'm not sure in the US).
Of course we could all be getting trolled extremely hard but I doubt it

Hes just too stupid to be trolling, or atleast his trolling has gone so far its not trolling anymore, hes just trying to look better than everyone else and is horribly failing
[editline]5th January 2011[/editline]
Also didnt someone decompile it down to the shitty VB code or something?

If webkit was trident based then it wouldn't work on OSX and other OS's.

So let me get this straight... You saying we have ourselves a case of Pathological trolling? Get me the mayor.
So this year I start a Multimedia class for school, expect plenty of content later on :buddy:

I forgot back in highschool I took some programming classes...
Funniest comment is we had a Linux fanboy in the class. A true fanboy, not just someone who uses linux...
Anyways, the class he was in was introductory programming, which consisted of a majority of Visual Basic and like 2 weeks of java and a branch into HTML if people chose to. Anyways, what to take away from that is that the class was learning Visual Basic if you hadn't talked to the teacher and set something up yourself to do something different.
This kid wanted to write his own operating system and asked if he was going to have enough knowledge from the class to be able to do that.
Long story short, or tl;dr to some, he wanted to know if he would know enough VB in one semester of a beginning programming class to write an OS in Visual Basic.

I don't think we do programming here
I'm pretty sure it's a dumbed down version for catholic kids who know nothing but Facebook and MSN :smith:

I...well...I...you see...I...uh...
...I got nothing.
Now that we're on OS'es

:smug:
I made an OS in Scratch several years ago :smugdog:
Yeah, I have had some of that content stored up in me for a while just completely forgot about that. If I would have cared to remember it all I would probably have decades of content for you.
The class usually involved me walking from computer to computer saying "You need to add a '-1' for it to work"
That was actually a little inside joke me and 3 other guys had in the class.
"If it doesn't work, throw some '-1' around and try it again."
About "SparkOS":
This is the biggest joke i've ever seen. I'm guessing that its a ubuntu variant with little changes and a $500 price tag. Your website is full of stuff just waiting for a lawsuit.
This is actually legal if it's happening. You can sell any GNU/Linux variant without getting in trouble. Immoral, yes (depending on how modified it is). Illegal, no.
When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for them if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs, and that you know you can do these things.
However, he does have to release the source code. Has he done so?
Uhg, bad memories from my class last year. The first and last attempt of a computer programming class at our school. Nobody knew what was going on and I had to fix the teaching materials multiple times. class average was 54 or something. I got 100.
It was in actionscript 3. The funny thing was that they tought it by putting the code into layers, which apparently was very wrong according to an Internet friend who does web design for a living.
However, he does have to release the source code. Has he done so?
True, but (I hope) no one is dumb enough to buy it in the first place, so he wouldn't be caught in that manner.
If someone does buy it, he's most likely screwed.
Quick someone buy it :v:
