Lol, silly you. You can't install Java onto a hat... Maybe a Java colored Fedora, hmm, just maybe.

The sad thing is, my uncle bought it. Now he barely uses it.
Kind of like the bots on BF2 I assume.
"hey we captured that point, get your asses moving or the enemy will keep trapping you ther- NO DON'T REVIVE ME IN FRONT OF A TANK!"
The bots in BF2 are still smarter than the AI in a lot of single-player games.
Atleast I can boot windows on ours, Although I will be using my own USB mouse...
Why? They have a perfectly functioning mouse.
Well there's a good thing with Macs, students wouldn't dare breaking them while all the Dell PCs at my school have some random guy's name carved in the paint.
I wonder what does that, I guess it's because Macs are shiny.
Why? They have a perfectly functioning mouse.
Most of the Macs at my school have one-click mice.
Retoast for bottom:

All the mighty mice I have had have been complete shit. It often recognises right click as left click and vice versa. And the scroll wheel on all the mices have stopped working in about 1-2 weeks of normal use.

I swear to god that little clit of a scroll wheel sucks dick. I don't think I could have crammed any more sexual reference into that.
But I get on a mac... I want to scroll down... Rub down on the clit, nothing... So I rub up on it and of course it will scroll the page up. Can I scroll down? No. So I get stuck and have to try to drag the page down. And then of course, I accidentally hit that scroll wheel again, scrolling the page UP BUT NOT DOWN.
That is if I am lucky. If I am unlucky the scroll wheel just doesn't work PERIOD.
What happened to you get what you pay for? If I pay $4,000 for a mac, I want the god damn scroll wheel to work. I have never had a Non-apple mouse EVER wear out. I have a mouse from the early 1990s and it still works perfectly.
The magic mouse is a lot better in my experience, though it's unergonomic as fuck. Sure, I could pull off a few rounds of UT2004 on my netbook and scrolling through webpages on my iMac is excellent, though any extended use gets fairly uncomfortable.

From what I understand the magic mouse does not have any physical buttons. Sounds uncomfortable as fuck to be tapping on glass all the time.
The Apple Mice are terrible. I've used them with an iMac, after awhile the scroll ball stops working, even though 360 degree scrolling is pretty cool. The connection kept dying on my bluetooth one, even after replacing the batteries. I've just hooked up a logitech wireless one, with the control center I can rebind all the buttons so nothings lost, still have dashboard, expose, spaces and spotlight available on the mouse. Then there's OS X's wonky acceleration curves, which is a pain as I'm used to no acceleration on my mice.
The MacBook touchpad is awesome, on the other hand. I haven't tried the magic mouse, but at $69, I brought my G500 at roughly that price on a sale.
I hate people saying XBox Live is worth it becuse you can buy games with gamerscore
Every time i try to explain to them that by the time you gained that much gamerscore you need for game XXX you already paid it in the costs of XBox live (atleast mostly), they just turn their heads around instantly
The main thing i think most people hate with console fanboys is that they wont accept others opinions, for example:
someone says they like gamepad for whatever reason - its their opinion and i got my own, i dont care they think something else
if i say that in my opinion mouse+keyboard is better for whatever reason - they just turn their head around and walks away
EDIT: God that was poorly formatted... you get what i mean anyways
Out of the box Apple Mice have the Right Click bound to Left Click by default. So out of the box it appears to only have one button.

They call it the XBox 360 because you see it, turn 360 degrees, and walk away.

So whoever set the defaults for Apple just gave us a little bit of content.
oh my god this shit again
WELL WHY DON'T WE JUST SAY THAT ANY MOUSE YOU GET AT A TECH STORE SALE WILL LAST LONGER AND IS 100X BETTER THAN ANY APPLE MOUSE

and also that apple sucks the dicks of schools to try to get little shits brainwashed

What would be even funnier is if they released an optional DLC on some apple distribution software to enable right click for a premium. :v:

Generic five button mouse. One button on each side, fairly large (assuming one thumb button for each hand).
I'm not just better than Apple - I'm better than anyone who doesn't have my kind of mouse.

They are very bad at driving priorities though. I've had one time where one of them tried to make a U-turn on a bridge in a tank and caused all the other bots to wait. I decided to C4 the tank because it was taking too long.
sounds like he's not waiting for sandy bridge :arghfist:
Actually, I convinced him to wait for Sandy Bridge. He was all ready with the build on Newegg too.

I've never seen the AI do shit that stupid in BF2. Unless you count taking an AH-1Z and somehow flipping it upside down in mid air.

So you walk into it?
So you walk into it?
Have you not been around the internet? That is a pretty old troll attempt. Or are you trying to troll the troll by falling for the troll?
I have an old mighty mouse a friend gave me, it sucked hard dicks.
I have a magic mouse and a Microsoft mouse. Magic mouse for browsing, Microsoft for gaming. I also have a wired and wireless keyboard. I really like my setup. And you don't tap the Magic Mouse, you click. I can use it for 3 hours no problem, it's not too bad.
Apple gives LUDICROUS discounts to educators. They have since the beginning. A school can get a lab full of iMacs for about the cost of a lab full of Dell PCs. Better computers for the same cost... I think, in this case, using Macs is the logical thing. Especially since they almost always put Windows on it anyways.
I spend several hours a day in a lab for of iMacs. They work just fine for making websites, learning Linux and compiling C++ code. And, of course, they work as well as any computer for typing shit in Office.
This. Plus, if they come with iLife (like ours did), you have video editing and music composition software out-of-the-box, which was a haven for my music & media teachers back in school, since our IT staff were so fucking slow at installing software. It took them a year to install Audacity on one suite of computers for us music tech lot, for christ's sake. And the mac minis were tiny, so easy to steal. I wonder if anyone did... they were small enough to hide in a school bag, definitely :v:
And unless I have a fuckton of expendable cash, I'm probably never going to buy a mac. But I think they're hated on far too much. They're not bad. I think there's a grain of truth in the "they're better for graphic design hurr"... which is why they're so damn expensive, they can afford to be in the graphic design industry niche market. Good colour management profiles, streamlined UI, decent (mostly stable) Unix... makes for a good workflow for editing photos. I guess the argument is, they're the best... if you can afford to waste hundreds of extra pounds/dollars on them. I think most people forget to distance the hardware from the OS - the OS being the good part, the hardware being way overpriced. I wouldn't mind a macbook one day. Mostly to piss off macfags though, as I would promptly install Arch Linux and Windows on it :v:

Are you trying to troll me by asking me if I am trying to troll the troll by falling for the troll?
considering deleting my windows partition and installing Linux.
Also, I don't want to sound like a total macfag, but if there's misinformation, I'll try correct it. Apple have had two button mice since 2005, suck it up.

The magic mice aren't made to suck and they're not made cheaply like the default shit that comes with the macs. I've used magic mice too. I find them really nice for everything but gaming :v:

What version of linux are you using\planning on using?
not sure, maybe arch and get thrown in at the deep end.
And all apple desktops come with the magic mouse now
Is the 'magic mouse' as uncomfortable as it looks?

The funny part is you would need to tell an XBox player that or they won't get it.
