Whoops, pissed off one of them Minecraft fanboys :tinfoil:
If you judge anything before it's finished you're an idiot.
Meh, I'm still waking up. I can only manage "slightly-above-average" right now; I only reach genius once I get my caffeine.
Oh man I can't wait. Actually, I barely understood what you said in the first list.
If you judge anything before it's finished you're an idiot.
Steam's not finished. Can I not judge that? It's being developed every day. Facepunch isn't finished. Compwhizii works on it all the time to fix stuff. With that logic you'll get no where. It's kind of obvious to most people that Minecraft is a piece of shit. Sure, it's fun, but it's still a horribly-coded Java shitstain.
It's Notch. He's such a crap coder it won't be able to make it out of Beta state.
:downs:

For one, you're assured that the former will generally work properly. The latter, no such guarantee. Also, if a game is fun, you can overlook a number of bugs. Like with New Vegas - good game, terrible coding. At least, that's what I've heard; I haven't played NV yet.

I can't see anything that's terrible about the "coding" of it.
:what: It's pretty much Fallout 3 with a bunch of new features and campaign added. I can't see anything that's terrible about the "coding" of it.
Looks like horseshit, has a lack of features (diagonal animation support) and runs like horse shit.
Looks like horseshit, has a lack of features (diagonal animation support) and runs like horse shit.
Uhh, no. It looks amazing (as do all Fallout games), lacks no features from what I've seen, and runs great.
If you judge anything before it's finished you're an idiot.
I thoroughly disagree with this. When I was working on a project, I would let other people look at it and they would JUDGE it, aka criticism. That way I knew what I needed to do differently. If you don't judge before it is out, prepare to end up with a shit product. If you judge, it shows developers what you want and allows them to reevaluate if necessary. Now, you probably have a list of conditions you are going to post about what you mean by "Judging before finished." So go ahead and list them, but choose your words better so that you convey exactly what you want.

They're judging a part that is constantly changing, If it was the concept then sure, It's good to judge.
Looks like horseshit, has a lack of features (diagonal animation support) and runs like horse shit.
I have an HP prebuilt with a core 2 duo Pentium and a geforce 315, Runs it at medium-high with all the trimmings. Oh, and Minecraft on default looks like horseshit. Just saying.
The faked email to the Sparkbrowser kid has just been sent.
Just thought I'd drop this here. [img_thumb]http://www.winhistory.de/more/386/Screenshot8mhz_system.gif[/img_thumb]
Nice virtual machine, but I thought windows XP required 233mhz to install or... you changed the settings after you installed.
Compwhizii works on it all the time to fix stuff. With that logic you'll get no where.
uh Also, gman, you're definitely my favorite poster :3:
FFS people, stop arguing about minecraft. You are all as bad as each other. Some people enjoy playing minecraft, and others don't. Sure, Notch's methods may be... impractical, to say the least, but if people are willing to pay for a game, it's not doing you any harm, and well done for getting people to invest in an unfinished product of debatable quality, and congratulations on winning PC Gamer game of the year. Can't we all just agree to disagree and acknowledge that most of you are not going to change your opinions on this topic? Seriously, it's like reading teens arguing over consoles, or before when people were arguing over OSs.
How do I find the first three averages in Microsoft excel? I know the first would be " =AVERAGE(H6:M35) " but that's the second and third?
If you want the link to the full article with the Windows XP on old hardware, here it is: http://winhistory.de/more/386/xpmini_eng.htm
apt-get out
You are not root.
sudo apt-get out
I've been running this current rig for six years now, which means I built it when I was 13. I only just now realised that I've been running it all this time with only an output fan and no input. I was a stupid kid.
I have a low speed input fan to keep my hard drives cool but the rest are exhaust. Keeping negative pressure in your case is fine if you don't mind having to constantly remove the dust.
Alright, the linux command jokes were old 10 years ago.
Alright, the linux command jokes were old 10 years ago.
I agree with this. It should be a ban-able offense. And isn't it a meme?
I agree with this. It should be a ban-able offense, considering isn't it a meme?
Is that a question?
Is that a question?
Oops. Yes, I typed it wrong... Fixed now.
What the flying fuck? That can't be a real computer...Must be a VM But still....:v:
any VM would report the host cpu's frequency, so that's even less likely.
Looks like horseshit, has a lack of features (diagonal animation support) and runs like horse shit.
Was said somewhere Gamebyro has support for diagonal animations but the devs are too much of dumbshits to make them even after people complaining about how it looks retarded.
Alright, the linux command jokes were old 10 years ago.
I don't know though sudo apt-get out is pretty funny
