I told him he could play basic games like Super Meat Boy and Cave Story. He lags on minecraft though.
Minecraft is extremely CPU intensive. SMB is surprisingly taxing as well if you don't enable the low detail mode.

Today, I walk in to media, and I notice the teacher trying to install Snow Leopard on a iMac G3. It was still using Panther. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline]
Flash costs money. Blender is free.
SoThink SWF Creator :downs:
Flash costs money. Blender is free.
Actually flash CS5 comes free with the latest Linux source distro. :eng101:
Blender's been sitting on my desktop for a few months now, I'm too lazy to learn the UI. It's so... not intuitive. Am I the only one with the keyboard layout switching randomly when ALT-Tabbing from a full-screen app? It goes from Canadian Multilingual to DVORAK and then AZERTY and now it's stuck on USA :argh:
Actually flash CS5 comes free with the latest Linux source distro. :eng101:
w-w-what?

I'm speechless that is outrageous. Sad thing is I have a friend who falls for that kind of shit. :eng99: [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] That whole site. This is the brand that has the $1000+ Power cable that apparently improves audio quality by removing some bullshit from the power stream, bullshit that probably doesn't exist. http://www.audioquest.com/ Have fun with possibly the best content in months.
Its especially stupid since a good gaming PC can cost less.
This is the brand that has the $1000+ Power cable that apparently improves audio quality by removing some bullshit from the power stream, bullshit that probably doesn't exist.
:sigh: The sad thing is, there are fools who would actually buy this tat.

After spending several hours struggling with the packaging, i finally obtained access to the cable. When i tried to plug it in, it didn't fit, so i started to try to force it in. After about an hour of this, i finally got the cable in. To my disarray, it did not work. Now, the cable is stuck in my computer (i'd assume broken), and i have one less usb port. I was very unhappy with the product.
oh god haha

Best sarc-views ever.
Self-content: I wrote a function for an Objective-C program I'm working on. Got it to a stage where it should work flawlessly, and compiled to test it. Nothing happened. I then spend about an hour trying to fix it, trying all sorts of different things. There were no compiler warnings until I tried to "fix" it, so I had no idea what was wrong. This was a simple debug method which consisted of two for loops and a console print command, to print the contents of a 2D array so I could look at them. I broke the function before I realised I forgot to actually call it from anywhere :v:
Is it just me, or do our avatars never load?
Seems the avatars server is down. Again.
Seems the avatars server is down. Again.
and up
Seems the avatars server is down. Again.
Why would they be on a separate server?
Why would they be on a separate server?
One way to make pages load faster. http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html#split And they're basically on the same server, just under a different domain.
