yeah well soda mildew is not exactly water soluble, and i'm not tossing parts like hard drives inside of a dishwasher.
I guess i'll just have to use a gallon of alcohol and three packs of cotton swabs.

Someone posted a video of a guy putting a whole computer in there, hard drives and CD drives included, I can't fucking find it :argh:
Semi-content:
For some reason, the Arch Linux netinstall ISO appears to be missing a ton of things needed to make it actually work - it can't copy vanilla config files into the new system, it can't even change the root password (unable to run command "passwd" - command not found over and over and over). I mean I understand it downloading the packages off the net, but COME ON, man.
Everyone in my year level has to buy MacBooks or MacBook Pros for school. Not a problem.
The problem, however, is that my year level is retarded and will try and play games during class. There's web filters which should stop them, but here's the real kicker:
THERE'S A DEMO OF UT2004 PRELOADED ON THE SCHOOL IMAGE.

Our school image is better, On the C:/ drive we have a folder just called "new folder", It has 3 Stargate SG1 episodes, an Adobe Reader Install file, A doctor Who christmas special, Old version of Torpark and a folder with a portable version of firefox 3.0.
[editline]16th January 2011[/editline]
I also put starcraft in it one time, It's on there now as well.
Reminds me of how Deepfreeze doesn't erase stuff in My Documents, people save their stuff there but since everyone can access it, the documents quickly get filled with ASCII penises.

Since the arch installer chroots into the new root partition it creates you most likely were chrooted and couldn't access the commands. Or you $PATH wasn't properly set.
Our default image had the Adobe CS5 master suite on it for about 4 weeks before someone realized it and removed it.
I installed Google Chrome on my Mom's laptop a few days ago, (she wanted to try something new,) just to find her using IE today. I asked why she uninstalled Chrome.... "Took up too much space."
Has anyone seen ANY of nerdygamer's tech related posts? 2 of 5 are good.

We must create a program in order to fill a hard drive with empty .txt files

Wait, what? Why would a school force students to buy a Mac? Macs are very expensive and most students probably cannot afford it.
Lots of schools do. They are heavily discounted for school make a fleet of Macs the same cost as a fleet of Dell's

A PC would get a virus and transfer it over the network :v:
But seriously, they're probably using some software that's Mac Exclusive because they can't find a better program
