Wait, what? Why would a school force students to buy a Mac? Macs are very expensive and most students probably cannot afford it.
Posh expensive private school. Everyone can afford multiple if they really want.
For a school? No.
Why not? I've done that before, and they've accepted it.
A PC would get a virus and transfer it over the network :v: But seriously, they're probably using some software that's Mac Exclusive because they can't find a better program [editline]16th January 2011[/editline] I'm pretty sure the student has to buy one themself, hence the: "Everyone in my year level has to buy MacBooks or MacBook Pros for school. Not a problem."
dosen't mean they can't order through the school
Ive just had to explain to my mother that she cannot bluetooth music from her phone to her iPod touch. Off she goes to piss around with iTunes.
Why not? I've done that before, and they've accepted it.
I'm sure breaking the EULA isn't something they want.
Not really illiteracy, but whatever [img_thumb]http://trollscience.com/image/f/full/55f39690e968e6dacd7b9dd86923bae4.jpg[/img_thumb]
Heh. Doesn't that information get stored in the hidden System Volume Information file though?
Posh expensive private school. Everyone can afford multiple if they really want.
Hey, I go to a private school, and I certainly haven't got my ass filled up with money, even though most of my classmates are pretty rich doesn't mean all of us are. Quit stereotyping :colbert:
I go to a public school and there are a few people who are apsolutely loaded, oddly the ones that buy all the Apple crap and are rather defensive.
Someone posted a video of a guy putting a whole computer in there, hard drives and CD drives included, I can't fucking find it :argh:
:buddy:

Holy shit... Console wars are bad... Were you one of them in it? Or not?

You're the most intelligent person in the whole conversation. Congratulations!
Does anyone on facebook really have more than two braincells? :psyduck:

i read half of it and decided everyone was a moron. edit: illiterate no, but everyone there is really being an ass. i didnt get to the part where "dont worry they are all gaming systems. just use whatever you like" around halfway through, so i figured it wouldn't appear. PCs are better in every single way, but it doesnt actually matter, just game you kids!
i read half of it and decided everyone was a moron.
People who never at least try to consider the other side of the argument annoy me.
One of my Facebook friends changed their middle name to "Kakashi", which is the name of a character from Naruto, an incredibly shitty anime. :eng99:
Naruto is anime? I thought it is simply a cartoon.
I don't see why people argue that consoles are better, the PC costs slightly more and in return for that small price increase, you get a metric fuckton more features that arnt just limited to games. Also if you realy like your controlers, just plug one in.

But just because things are popular doesn't make them good. Ect: Beiber, Macs, COD. Edit: That's not to say that all popular things are bad. But most are.
Heh, even if my PC did cost more, I'm going to save a bomb on peripherals. 1TB Samsung HDD for a PC £39, 20Gig HDD for Xbox £20. Don't even get me started on their propriatery Wi-Fi dongles...

Because you can only get xbox HDDs from Microsoft or anyone they authorize, they can charge as much as they want.
If you like keyboard and mice = PC gaming If you like gamepads = PC gaming I have a USB gamepad. It cost me 15 bucks :v:
You know, I bet I could get my money back for my PC over the lifespan of the current generation of consoles. Due to the lack of subscriptions on steam, the amount of opensource and free games available (Some of which I think are great, Space Station 13 for example) and the cost of expanding my system.
I have this gamepad. Got it free with my racing wheel...

Wasnt there an Xbox game that allowed games for windows users and Xbox live users to play together, I can vaguely remember the Xbox players having their asses well and truly kicked.
When I built my first computer, I plugged the CPU fan connector in cha_fan, because I couldn't find cpu_fan. :downsgun:
The only good thing consoles are good for is allowing devs to create a more realistic environment that's not resouce heavy, Which can either mean Making modern technologies run better and be resource light or better technologies that's run on good on low resources.
