Console: Peugeot 206, not exactly the fastest thing on the planet, relatively cheap, nearly impossible to break, and the owners act like their dicks are longer than the exhaust stack. :iiaca:

Makes it stupid easy to beat anything. Also, NES/SNES controllers weren't analog inputs, which is the only real advantage modern controllers have over the keyboard. You can't half-press W to walk forward slowly, like you can on the XBox or PS3.

I'm actually really liking the idea of a pressure-sensitive gaming keyboard. Assuming games can be modded to work with it, it would be a really good system - the high button-count of a keyboard, combined with the sensitivity of a controller. Maybe toss in some small rumble, too. I just might make a prototype, if I ever get a chance.

Or shift, on games that realize moving as fast as possible is what people prefer. However, even then, it's only boolean. You can be running, walking, or standing still. You can't be walking briskly, or jogging, or anything else in between. I think that analog input would feel more natural for this.
