0 degrees kelvin, motherfuckerr
There is nothing like 0 degrees Kelvin, just 0 Kelvin.
A long time ago at best buy, I asked one of the workers about the quality of one of the graphics cards. His response:
"You could probably wait a bit until you buy one of these. The newer games will just use your processor and Windows for a while."

Three thousand degrees. Kelvin.
My state is saying that putting this on your kid's PC without their consent is legal. It's basically a keylogger with video.

"As a parent it is impossible to monitor what your children do on the PC 100% of the time. With the dangers of online predators growing daily you must take precautions now. PC Pandora will monitor computer activity and allow you full access to key logging, instant message chats, password retrieval for myspace and other sites. Find out if there is a potential problem before it's too late."

Sounds like he was trying to say newer games use more CPU than GPU or something.

it is legal unless the kid is over 18 and paid for the computer with their own money that they actually worked for.
Damn it Buttsex, you beat me to it.

It's not the parents property if you buy it yourself though, even if you are under 18. I bought my laptop, and it's legally mine, not my parents.
Not as far as the law is concerned.
You're a minor, it's theirs.
Unless it's like a car or whatever and the title's only in your name, but that's a different situation.

Fuck that shit. If my parents tried to install stuff on my computers without my permission they would get heavily acquainted with the business end of a crowbar.
Most people (girls) at my school use Hotmail addresses

Hotmail's stopped sending ads below your emails for a while now.

This is what happens. Parents watch Fox News. Get scared that their child is going to get sucked in and meet someone in real life. No talking to the child about general common sense, no "Just be skeptical of people who you meet online". Instead of thinking that the child has a brain, they just install a program so that the child has no freedom. It insults every intelligent under-18 who uses common sense and logic.
This is almost as bad as Children getting microchipped.

My friend has no freedom on his computer because all he did was go on a flash game site, and various porn pop-ups appeared everywhere. Right when his mom walked by.
It also says that, "I'm your mother/father. You don't have a brain and can't make decisions for yourself. I need to control everything you do or else you'll get raped."

Use both ends of the crowbar.
but crowbars have uses on both ends! :byodood:
Yes, but only one of them means business :colbert:
Yes, but only one of them means business :colbert:
Does the other one mean party?
Crowbar in Swedish translates to "Cow's foot".
[editline]automerge-failsafe[/editline]
I might get a "Resident Swedish guy" title :3:

If my parents tried to do that, they'd get the silent treatment. Considering the rate at things break down, it would be a disaster.
Once again, content from my "300$ headphones" friend (He's quite dumb, isn't he?). Well not exactly from him but from his father. You see, this guy is an IT dad, he's been working with computers since the early 90's.
He hasn't renewed his knowledge since then.
I argued with him for about 1 hour about how PCI-e 2.0 was retro-compatible with PCI-e 1.0. Even after I showed him official documentation, a wikipedia page, my own computer which is running a PCI-e 2.1 card in a PCI-e 1.0 slot, he still wouldn't believe me. He's also the reason my friend didn't get an upgrade, this guy thought Pentium Ds are on-par with Core 2 Duos. Once again, I showed him some proof and he still wouldn't believe me :smith:
Okay, I think I post way too much in this thread...

People in my house know not to go near my stuff.
Usually there is some sort of firearm I get from some redneck outing I go to.
