Content from the LMAO: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1048946-LMAO-Pics-v.74-Please-let-MintyMginty-Die/page60 It's actuually FatFatfatty that starts it, and I haven't found the end yet. And poopsicle got perma'd.
Well, consider it like this. Say the dell is a normal car and the Mac is a "special" car, the Mac car only has one pedal, you can press it down and it is limited to going at 30 Km/h, you pretty safe from accidents, but if you want to do something more advanced, you want to go faster, but due to limits to keep it safe, you can't. That is what I meant about it being easy. :iiaca:
For fucks sake, you need a pedal to brake. Now, does he need an extra pedal to install Ubuntu? See, seems like his thing. So easy a retard could use it. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Why did he only get a one hour when someone, trying to stop it being a circlejerk over Windows, get perma'd? Fucking bullshit.
OK, content time. I'm in an "Introduction to Business and Management" class. As our final project, we have to present a business plan, pretty much like we would if we were actually trying to start a business. Naturally, about half the class did video-game-related businesses. A lot of them were... less than good, but one guy stood out: * Wanted to make an MMORPG * Wanted to make his own engine for it * The game content would be entirely user-created - there is no actual "game". I asked him later, he did not know about Second Life. * Had ludicrous specifications for the engine, including something about "fractal". At the end, I asked some questions, and he was basically describing procedural generation. I told him that, and that the idea is over two decades old, but is rare in modern games because it doesn't give enough detail. I was then cut off by the teacher, who said that "this isn't about the details, this is about the idea". I seriously considered cutting her off and saying "if he can't even express the idea, nobody would be stupid enough to fund him" * Wanted the engine to be detailed enough that the curvature of the Earth was accounted for * Wanted the game detailed enough that you could make a nuke from scratch, and have it work * Specified a job for physicists on the engine team * Did not specify any jobs for artists or voiceactors * Budgeted $40,000,000 for the whole thing * Did not, at any point, mention the platform it would be for This same guy once argued that astrology was completely accurate. Although he did say "it's not about stars, it's about finding patterns in the universe, man". I wanted to throw him out the window. For what it's worth, my project was military weapons manufacturer.
GTA IV costed over twice that budget, and I see no nukes, not even premade ones. :saddowns:
The argument in LMAO Pics goes on for about 7 pages...

I'm not saying he was the only one, but it was in my opinion completely justified, especially if you look at his banhistory too.

Guys, the price of giving someone a title has been reduced to 20 bucks! Again, who says we collect some cash to give FFF a title he's worthy of?
No, I think he was one of the main contributors, but any mod with a braincell would have given fatfatfucky more than a 1 hour
They should all have gotten a 7 day ban. I still think it was fair though.

Some guy gets perma'd and fatfatfatty doesn't? What the fuck moderators?
Why am I still getting ridiculed? There, you have my reaction. Laugh your arses off.
Without FFF, this place would be dead. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
Why am I still getting ridiculed?
You're being ridiculed over your stupidity, much like everyone else.

[editline]19th January 2011[/editline] You're being ridiculed over your stupidity, much like everyone else.
This place seems rolling pretty neatly without me, I have made 2 major fuck ups and that kept a discussion going for like 8-12 pages both times. Well, at least I learn what I did wrong. How many cocks do I have to suck to not be branded as an idiot?
Why am I still getting ridiculed? There, you have my reaction. Laugh your arses off.
a fucking mac user can install ubuntu and yet you still complain that mac users are illiterate.
a fucking mac user can install ubuntu and yet you still complain that mac users are illiterate.
I have installed Ubuntu you mongrel. I cancelled the install the time before that since I acidentally wiped my HDD. I shall now remain silent in fear of bans and other unpleasant stuff.

Everyone makes mistakes, and as long as he learns from them, I have no problem with him
prove you are using ubuntu
how do you mess up an ubuntu install, though? That's been the absolute easiest distro that I've ever installed, ever.
C-C-C-Content! Studying Psychology at University, yesterday we started our 'Using Technology' module. 2 minutes in, and the lecturer spends the next 5 minutes trying to work out if the over-head projector is on. If that wasn't bad enough, he later goes into detail about the differences between Macs and PCs. Apparently, although he likes the customisability of a Windows based computer, he prefers the simplicity of Macs... Five years ago he changed the font on his PC and hasn't worked out how to fix it yet. :eng99: [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] This man is the head lecturer of the Psychology course.
Short content Some kid in my Photoshop class accidently put Photoshop in fullscreen, and it took the school 20 minutes to revert
Sub-zero=below zero. Or in layman's terms, extremely fucking cold.
I live in Canada, this isn't cold.
Not really content, but more of an awesome teacher, so apparently at my school someone installed halo on a bunch of the school computers. And so when people were done with their work they would start playing it, and so after a while my whole entire tech class ended up playing halo for about 30 minutes and even the teacher considered joining in near the end. Content: Apparently with our schools network drive you can view all their files while selecting a drive on the network map, interesting to see what they have stored.
We regularly have CS 1.6, warcraft 3, and starcraft LAN games in our tech room, we have the best teacher.
Well, I didn't personally punch it, used to belong to a friend Let me give you a description on how slow it was: The start menu took 10 seconds to fully open
My dad's computer's start menu loads from top to bottom in about 3 seconds. After 12 seconds of loading.
My teacher was trying to host a video for class yesterday on her mac. So when she plugged in the projector the mac automatically set it to a second monitor and extended the screen. She couldn't figure it out so I decided to step in and help. All the retards in the class were "LOL ITS A MAC. U SHUD GET WINDUS! CUZ THAT NVR HAPPENZ" That aside I move the video towards the right, assuming that the mac extended the screen to the right. When they saw it move over like that they all thought I was some kind of fucking wizard. Then the best part is, one that was ranting the most about it being a mac decides to walk up and fuck with the video output settings and fuck the whole thing up and then proceeds to say "THAT WOULDN"T HAPPEN IF IT WAS A PEEECEEE!"
My school has like a 2mb internet connection. And she streams youtube videos in 720p and wonders why it's slow...
