I just checked Comcast's website and it says their standard business connections are 50 down 10 up. But I have Comcast, not sure which class but we get 120 down and 60 up during certain times. But most of the time it's 50 up and down. Can anyone explain this reasoning?

Emergency content incoming since every single time gman003 posts people start chatting about porn and encryption. Last time I installed Ubuntu as a dual-boot on the family computer (well back then it was the only comp in the whole house), my dad wanted to do some online banking. He starts up the computer and is greeted by GRUB. For some reason, he couldn't read the instructions (even though they were in French instead of English) so he started freaking out and before I could get into the room to help him boot up XP he smashed the keyboard onto the wall.

In regards to the page about laptop disassembly or something, one of my friends brought a laptop over so I could add more ram. After checking the ram type he had and realising I didn't have any, I decided to take a stick of ram (can't remember size, either 256 or 512) from a long dead laptop I had. It wouldn't fit, so in order to make it fit I took some kind of file to the edge of it. Got it to fit but it didn't boot. Fail on my part then. No damage was done though (other than to the RAM). Also, school content. In a school which had about 100 computers (at an est.), 5 of them had their optical drives jammed because kids kept sticking sweet wrappers in them. Rather than pay for 5 read only optical drives i.e. a direct replacement and get the school techs to install them, they decided to spend much more money in labour fees removing each and every optical drive over the summer holidays. Oh, it's sorta worth noting that the computers in question are the dell equivalent of the "BEEFY COMPUTER" towers in CS:S.

Isn't it pretty obvious that the ram will not work if it doesn't fit? You have different ram sizes and shapes for a reason

Everyone thought I was some sort of magician when I removed the magnets from my MB's screen. They're actually pretty strong if they're not blocked by plastic.

But I have changed my view on Ubuntu, it's an okay OS. But why are you wasting time and money on me? I thought you guys disliked me. I even thought you guys were ok after all and removed you from my ignore list, but it turns out you are still a bunch of butthurt nerds. It's just a fucking OS.
