Big shoutout to the people who contributed, this wouldn't have been possible without you!
I would of written 'I am an immature, idiotic furry who can't even install Ubuntu'.
Fatty, if you're reading this (what with the drama you've been making in the AUATF thread):
Calling me a poorfag ain't a nice thing to do.
I have been doing computing since September and today we just started If statements. We also have to phisically write down all code on paper before we type it up on computers. This is going to be a long year.

You only just started If statements? What language are you doing? I learned If statements after about 2 months of Java lessons! Maybe less, my memory's playing up.
Oh god, Fatty's ALSO been causing drama in the Custom Titles thread. Seriously?

Money for the cause of greater good.
You're welcome.

We don't even have a programming class (we had for 3 days, but then we switched back to learning Word and Excel), consider yourself lucky. :smith:

When i first saw it few pages ago I was about to flame you but changed my mind since you didn't pick "Mac is better than PC" and instead stated your opinion about OSs instead of machines themselves.
But now since you're trying to shove it up out throats.
:frog: you tosser.
Isn't it pretty obvious that the ram will not work if it doesn't fit? You have different ram sizes and shapes for a reason
This was 3-4 years ago, when my mindset was along the lines of "if it doesn't work, lets try something until it does".

Oh ye of little friendliness :smith:
I thought that Mac OS was good, but then I started using it for a bit....:v:

Grab your drama caps and popcorn erryone!
I fucking love you.
Well Mac OS is not terrible, but there are some things about it that annoy me. For example, when some sort of error comes up NEVER tells me why and what the error is. Yesterday I tried moving a file to a flash drive formatted as NTFS. Mac OS told me that the flash drive was write protected and I was like "Wat?". Turns out it just doesn't like NTFS. Why the fuck didn't it just tell me that instead of lying to me? Another time it was an asshole was when I tried burning a disc from an iso. It could mount and read the iso file just fine, but when I tried to burn it, it was like "Fuck you!" and just said something like "Invalid argument". There wasn't anything like "More information" or anything. How the fuck am I supposed to troubleshoot without knowing what's wrong? I used the disk-utility program btw...
Oh, and it doesn't show speed when transferring files...
Also, no I'm not saying Windows is perfect, I just think that it seems more well made sometimes...
Hello my fine gentlemen. I see you appreciate my new title.
I think OS X is supposed to be more "user friendly" by not displaying all that :techno: that would just fly right over most user's heads, confuse them, and ultimately make them flip out eventually.
But what do I know, the only time I used OS X was on a school supplied computer that was completely tied down and was absolute rubbish. Everything was slow.

Not as much as we appreciated watching you bitch and whine about getting it, I assure you.

I know but AT LEAST they could make something like a "Technical Information" button on error messages. Mac OS is not more user friendly than Windows in my opinion.
Not more user friendly for the more advanced users, yes, but it's more friendly for those who's brains are microscopically sized. (Not saying that every OS X/Mac user is like that, but... I've seen alot of them)
I agree though that there should be a more info button.

I have their uncapped 15/1 Mbps tier, which kicks ass. Not sure if it would be worth paying all that money to upgrade and then be capped though...
You americans are silly with your bandwidth thingies.

Unmetered 90/90Mbit for $90 a month, 30/30Mbit for $30 :smug:
Then there's jay.net where you can get a 100/10Mbit unmetered for $30 a month.

Well, I don't know. The biggest thing about it is that makes is user friendly is that it doesn't get viruses out of the box. (If you buy a Windows PC it comes preloaded with a Norton Trial and what not)

Holy shit! Fuck Fullrate, what is this ISP?
If you buy a Windows PC it comes preloaded with a Norton Trial and what not
AKA it gets infested with viruses in ten minutes. Pretty sure norton has a built in virus magnet to keep them in business :v:
Ugh, Norton...
I wouldn't let my computer connect to the internet at all till I had Norton removed and my usual anti-virus installed.
(Yay for flash drives)
OK, some content from a guy in my class
About two months ago, he called me and said
"Hey, I need you for a project !
- Yeah, what's it about ?
- Well, you see, I know of a big webhosting site, and I know you're good with hacking
- Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk...
- So, How would I crack it ?
- Uh, well, there's many ways... Bruteforcing an admin password, , SQL Injections, or even XSS, and many others
- Yeah I already have hydra running for SQL injections. What do you think of bruteforcing ?
- That it's dumb as fuck
- Yeah I tried to bruteforce but it blocks me for 15 minutes after 5 trials
- that's kind of the point
- You're good at coding, do you think you could take the source and change it so it tries a password every minute and changes IP after 4 tries ?
- what the... Why would you even want to get the pass of a webhost anyways ?
- Well there's banks and stuff hosted on it and-
- oh god
- What ? And if I can log in I could backup the SQL Table
- And ?
- And I would have access to the bank accounts
- what did you just said
- Yeah they're stored in clear
-WHAT DID YOU JUST SAID
- Well, I would get a few millions, fifty fifty ok ?
- You can't be serious
- Yes I am"
I cut the conversation short at this moment. I just leave, saying "You don't have any idea what you're talking about, I'll just leave you there"
Then, a few weeks later, I hear him talking about "how he can generate paypal money with an algorithm and also Allopass codes and this is how he's paying his WoW account"
AND THEN TODAY
"Have you seen the PSP2 ? It's gonna be so fucking powerful. As powerful as a PS3"
Can I cry ?
