Got my Gnex to turn back on, and everything works normally except I don't have any signal. The baseband version says unknown, and I'm not sure if I can even fix this today.
I can feel it getting kind of warm where the SIM card is once the phone has been on for a few minutes.
I think you should've kept it in the rice longer, but unfortunately, after a full wash cycle, there's probably permanent damage, like the signal issue.

for some reason, the page will snap around on my tablet, and when i tap one thing it'll select a completely different area...
I have that with firefox beta. Sometimes I want to open one subforum on facepunch, and I see a link being clicked that is centimeters above my finger.
How does offical cm nightlies work? Is stuff like camera and sd card working, or is it a list of stuff not working?
depends on the device
absolutely everything works on my N7, and it's probably not the same for a lot of devices
I have a potato!
So I think my next phone will be the HTC One (based on how it fairs in the next month or so while I wait for my upgrade) My other choice was the Galaxy S4 but I despise the look and feel of them, pretty excited though since Sense 5 actually looks kind of good. Just happy to finally be getting rid of my broken Nexus S

I actually kind of like the design of that.
Flipphones got that shit right back in the day.

If they really wanted to get it right they should've made it a fucking vertical flip cover. Side flip covers are a huge pain on phones.
Mightytext updated the ui and made it worse cool
Does using the OTG cable with a mouse, work with phones or just tablets?
Does using the OTG cable with a mouse, work with phones or just tablets?
Phones too, but it depends. Some don't support OTG. For example, the S3 does; the HTC Vivid doesn't. (If it supports OTG at all, then a mouse will probably work.)

AFAIK most of the time OTG is limited, it's by the kernel.

Yeah, my Evo 3D (Similar to the Vivid) has full OTG support, at least on ICS kernels. It's still pretty bugged on Jellybean though, due to use of old proprietary driver workarounds and shit.
I set up a live wallpaper with Launcher7. At first, the screen flippedout until I rebooted the phone.

Really like Paranoid Android on my Nexus 7. The per app screen layout settings are really nice. I like having the status and nav UI in the same bar, but I prefer the "phablet" UI in other apps (like Youtube). Seems to run a little better than the CM10.1 nightlies as well, but that might just be because my install was becoming extremely cluttered.
CM is really great if you're ok with kind of an "extended stock".
I still need to try out PA though, because the concept of changing dpi on the go seems interesting.

It is really neat, if a little buggy at times. I accidentally changed a setting on the system UI and it got stuck in a crash loop. Forced reboot fixed it though.
I still want to give PA a try, but I really don't feel like backing up everything, flashing, then going back..
