I wish keyboards were still an important part of phones I hate touchscreen typing [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] I can type hella fast using swiftkey but it still has no feedback and you can't feel where you're typing
E63 bros for £17 I can get mine functioning again (new screen and housing)
Mine still works, and is sitting on the charger now. However, something is wrong with the microUSB port so neither the phone or PC acknowledge each other's existence. Which sucks so I can't update it. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Which is annoying because the MP3 player has a bug that if you seek after you adjust the volume, it stops the music. Apparently that was fixed but like I said, no possible way to update. Because installing an update via microSD card is too fucking good for Symbian S60.
Shit Well mine made a terrible music player anyway, the quality left a lot to be desired
Yeah, audio output was particularly noisy. It was obvious enough that you could hear the DAC switching on an off even with some cheap $10 headphones. That's partially why I never bothered to get it fixed. That and I had moved on to Android. Not really worth putting money into.

If I was going overseas, it would be great as a GSM phone, since I'm on Verizon. As far as making calls and text messages, it was a great phone. Call quality was spectacular which unfortunately something Verizon lacks.

After a year, the most noticeable "burn in" would be that the navigation bar and notification bar are "blue-er" than the rest of the screen if those areas happened to be filled in when the app is full screen. Its not too noticeable by itself but you hold the phone up to a regular LCD, the screen is a lot warmer (white seems to be off-yellow). In my experience, its not so much a burn in being an issue, its more that because of that the color accuracy becomes worse with age (I guess because of burn in, but its not the severe burn in issues where digits get burned in on the screen).
To be extra sure, be unlocked and on the home screen, then connect the phone to the computer. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Check device manager when you plug it in. If it enumerates as QHUSB_DLOAD you're fucked and your only hope is JTAG.
Still isn't working :/ Could it have something to do with this? I also tried going through with the second half of the unlocking process - going into fastboot mode, plugging in phone, and putting "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" in cmd. Phone isn't unlocking, it just says "<waiting for device>" in cmd. Fuck.

I'd uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them again. [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Also try another USB port.

[editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Also try another USB port.
I know this isn't very descriptive, but make Windows is using the correct drivers for everything. I found Windows was using the ADB drivers for the MTP device on my Nexus 7, causing some really strange problems (ADB saw its existence, but never responds and there was no MTP device in Computer). Automatic drivers installs aren't always foolproof. Best part is that you have to figure it out yourself. If its using the wrong driver, Windows may report the device as "working correctly". [editline]21st April 2013[/editline] Also, you can ignore RNDIS. That's the USB tether driver, and shouldn't affect fastboot.
is the crack visible on the camera?
Fortunately not. It's just below the lens and somehow doesn't affect it. The glass on the back of the Nexus 4 is so weak, it's a joke.

I didn't buy the iPhone because of it, and I've heard of more shattered nexus 4 backs among all the owners I know than the percentage of iPhone owners I know with shattered glass on the back. Maybe it should have been thicker, it's not like the glass on the display where thicker means harder to see, it's just sitting on the back.
Anyone here on candy crush Everyday I go to work that is the only thing I see on smartphones. Candy crush everywhere
I played it and got to like level 12 before I got bored

God the Nexus 4 can look sexy [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37122947/IMGP0041.png[/t] This picture was also an excuse for testing out my new camera.
It gets even sexier if the back pattern suddenly shines into the faces of your enemies :v:

This project got more than enough funding http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-minuum-keyboard-project Would this even work well on my small phone?
Well I went into a 3 Store today to get a closer look at the HTC One and some other phones I had in mind. Walked out with a pre-order for a S4 that I'm picking up on friday :v: I dont know whether its because I had a quick go on my brother's S3 over the weekend but I just prefer the feel of it (the HTC One looks better though, not a fan of the round curves on the Galaxy phones). That and the 5 inch AMOLED screen is probly one of the best displays I've seen on a phone so far. Got it in black, I'll post pics when I pick it up on Friday.
