Yeah I'm on a stable CM 10 I downloaded straight from ROM manager.
Literally everything else works perfectly, so I'm really not sure what to do. Guess I don't use GPS that much so its not that big of a deal.
What I posted:
"If your theme sucks ass we have the right to tell you so".
You're lucky you're still alive.
How do you view a full article in Google current?
For example there is an article on endgadget about good upcoming phones. However it just shows 3 pages of text describing stuff and doesn't actually show the phone list. How do you fix this?
Nexus 4 right?
- CyanogenMod: close to stock with more customization)
- AOKP: similar to CM, but some different types of customization. and unicorns)
- Paranoid Android: "per-app tablet layout" system (switching between phone/7inchtablet/10inchtablet on the go)
I'm on CM and I really like it.
- Also using intersectRaven's kernel for better battery life/less heating up. There's versions with color fixes too if you don't like how the N4 is undersaturated.
- Other good alternative is _motley's kernel.
I ran on motley's before, but now I'm using intersectRaven's kernel and I find it a tiny bit quicker, and it also seems like the battery drains slower.
Doesn't a lot of AOSP and AOKP ROMs come with Paranoid Android features? ReVolt for my S2 comes with AOKP and PA features.
possible, I heard about PACman ROM for some device(s) which incorporates "the best of all 3", but I dunno. Everything except CM/AOKP/PA seems to have SOMETHING really shitty or generally feels like an "unprofessional rom" compared to the 3.
Maybe add MIUI to that, but I have no experience with MIUI whatsoever, so I can't judge.

Yeah, basically AOSP/CM/AOKP/PA/MIUI are the only AOSP based ROMs you should deal with. PACman is..alright, but its kind of a mess.
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/introducing-xdadevcon-a-conference-for-developers-by-developers/
why
I'm expecting a lot of moaning because some "devs" can't go
kennyglass is a cunt
Read that with an Australian accent.
Read that with an Australian accent.
only if animosus was still awake to read this right now, it would make things so much better

PACman really depends on the dev of the build. For example, the guy doing PACman for the Evo 3D is doing a great fucking job imo. It's the rom I've stuck with the past 2 months.
Considering to buy Xperia Z if ASUS refuses to fix my PadFone for free.
Anyone with the Z who can tell me how it is?
The screen is atrocious
I don't have one but I played with one in a shop
everything is grey
The screen is atrocious

when you rotate it you can see everything becoming grey. how the fuck did they even do that?

tried the ZL at Costco, yeah everything is grey and that's kinda ugly

Friend has one, I can confirm I do not like the screen.
Then again, I have an s3.
The Z is pretty sexy just looking at it
[sp]with the screen sleeping[/sp]
The only new android phone I can see myself wanting is the HTC One
I just wish it had a FLAT BACK
Why is it so difficult to understand a flat back = good for lying on table and playing games
It's like if you take one of the old iPod touches (2G/3G) and put it flat on a table, then try to unlock it or play on an app, it rocks about and spins and shit, it's just not good
well the screen is okay bright but the camera is pretty good
It also has a sexy box design
I like sexy box designs with flat edges
when you rotate it you can see everything becoming grey. how the fuck did they even do that?
They also made the UI grey.
They also made the UI grey.
It's to mask the screen being washed out + Android's banding out by getting rid of color.
I wish there was a way to connect my wii remote to my 4.2 phone
I want to have a smash brothers tournament in class again damn it

The guy porting PACman for my device hasn't updated it for 2 months :saddowns:
only if animosus was still awake to read this right now, it would make things so much better
I'm awake now, am I still needed?
Phone is running so much better now that I am running a custom ROM. It's quite a better experience than on my galaxy s.

The point is to have it fit in your hand, as far as I can tell. Flat back would just take a shit all over that goal.

DPReview is saying that between the GS4, One, L920, and the iPhone 5, the One has the best camera.
[editline]25th April 2013[/editline]
Derp. For LED flash photos, it does the best. Also for low light. Daytime is only acceptable.
Just got my HTC One, and the fact the back is not flat makes it excellent for holding. It remains mostly stable on a flat surface, but it is not as perfect as a phone like the Z or Optimus G would be.
Also: this is the best phone I have ever used. The screen is perfect, the camera is great (though you need to manually adjust lighting when it is too bright outside, the phone is too good at taking in light), the build quality and look of the phone are both fantastic, and Sense 5 is actually really nice. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this phone.

Yeah, the Optimus G feels terrible to hold.

I have a friend that uses one. I basically hold it like a claw because resting it in my palm is just bad.
