Having so many issues rooting it's not even funny.
First rooting try results in me having no signal whatsoever and my sim card isnt reading at all.
Now when I got root working i cant get a signal like before and after installing Cyanogenmod i had the same problem.
Now when flashing stock ROM to get back to normal i get stuck in an infinite boot with the Samsung logo.
It took me a total of 10 minutes to get root and a custom rom on my galaxy s2, it's taken HOURS now and it isnt working :(
And there we go, i can now get into the phone again without root and with no signal or sim card.
What the flying fuck is wrong with this piece of shit root.
You need the build for the i9305.

Also, the sheer amount of rage people have over the One's metal body actually dissipating the heat generated from the SoC/battery is hilarious. People claim to be all educated and smart and shit, but apparently people don't understand that the GS4 is not magically excluded from heating up, and that the GS4 is going to have lots of issues with throttling. Samsung just caps brightness as soon as the phone starts heating up past a certain point to try and avoid downclocking the SoC.
They're retarded. Where is the heat supposed to go? Should it magically disappear? I'd hope an engineer who can make that happen gets a medal. It's like the whole debacle about the iPad 3 getting hot when it got only marginally warmer than other tablets, even plastic ones like the Galaxy Tab. You're not going to give yourself burns on your hands.
The new Play Store UI is card based because everything google makes is going to cards (some expect the 5.0 UI to be card based instead of the 2 year old #HOLO).

Is it just me or does Holo look way better than the cards? Just look at all the contrast it doesn't have
If I were to get a new phone in the nearest future it would be the HTC One. Too bad it costs about $850 no contract...

The cards I'm seeing now looks nice. But if they change the UI from holo to card then... I don't know what to expect, the only thing which strikes my mind is Windows tiles.
Cards are nice, but Google is going to make a mistake if they re-theme all of Android into the cards ui.
I think that Google is just expanding the types of UIs they would like developers to use. Card UI lends itself to some apps where as Holo lends itself to others.

uhhhh I need a second Nexus 4 to play with. I don't feel like backing up everything to test out AOKP and PA :C

It's worth it. At least when you root you can use titanium backup, which is easy.

If you had a Nexus 7 you could of used MultiROM.

I think my eyes are bleeding
I'm crying blood.
So, my faux leather case/cover/whatever for my Nexus 7 just got some tears in it, and I need a new one. I'm thinking about investing in a TreeGloo or a DODOcase, can anyone recommend either of these?

Hell I could nandroid the entire thing right now, but I'm LAZY :v: (Running CM at the moment)

To illustrate my laziness level, I haven't even changed the notification sounds yet and I have this phone for like a month already.

I don't even use notification sounds, I always have my phone on silent due to the amount of notifications I get.
I think I'm afraid I'd like AOKP or PA, but I would find one really minor thing that would annoy the fuck out of me and I'd have to go back to CM and realize I really want to use AOKP/PA but there's something in there that's annoying.
Is it possible to mod the Lockscreen with HTML or replace it with a HTML-Template I wrote?
If not, what other possibilities are there? Except wrting your own widgets..

Write your own widget that loads HTML templates? :v:

Not just me then. I thought it was something to do with Australia.
Goo.im was fast for the first month or two after launch, then it went downhill.
goo.im is usually pretty fast for me, never had any problems

I average 20kb/s and peak at 60 from them, bad host is bad
I can be on my 12mbit cable at home or 10+ mbit hspa+ and it doesn't change
Heh, I might poke at compiler flags at some point, but I just want to play around with this now.
I need to migrate this to something beefier though, my laptop isn't an ideal environment for this.
