Ok, uh.. PA seems.. interesting, but I don't really like it on my phone. Back to CM I go!
and holy shit all this backing up and flashing made the phone pretty hot

Although I liked how the "swipe away all recent apps" button was in the navbar if you entered the recent apps menu, that was a nice thing which I wish CM would implement.

Well, that took a while...
needs more red and gold with rainbow icons
Why do people think Google are going to change the UI in the next update? It looks good and works well right now, why change it?
They should concentrate on improving and adding features which is what I think they've been doing.

Haven't they always changed the UI in every large update? 1, 2, 3, 4?
let's be honest here, they had every reason to do that previously, because the UI sucked in every each one until 4.0.

That's true, but I still won't mind another UI update for something fresh and nice.

This exactly. And the next update is supposedly 4.3, not 5.0.
They're retarded. Where is the heat supposed to go? Should it magically disappear? I'd hope an engineer who can make that happen gets a medal. It's like the whole debacle about the iPad 3 getting hot when it got only marginally warmer than other tablets, even plastic ones like the Galaxy Tab. You're not going to give yourself burns on your hands.
Yeah, even better is people claiming to work for AT&T and then mixing up WCDMA and CDMA2000. Even better, even after the FCC documents and actual reviews all clearly stating that the One's antennas ARE the top and bottom metal strips, this guy is making up bullshit about how it's actually a parabolic reflector that uses the plastic midsection and front speaker grille (which is metal, I might add) as the RF windows.
These people are irreversibly retarded. The S4 is a great phone but people keep spewing retarded bullshit about it so nearly everything I say is almost always negative because I keep correcting people.

People who claim to work for AT&T mixing up WCDMA and CDMA2000, that's a laugh. AT&T never even had a CDMA2000 network AFAIK.
That's true, but I still won't mind another UI update for something fresh and nice.
So many retarded developers (hello facebook team) haven't even caught up with the very basics yet (menu button/menu still having icons. ALSO GOOGLE NAVIGATION).
I hope they don't change anything in the UI, but instead focus on performance/Googles own app consistency/this unified chat thing.

Yep. It's great to see people assume things and then make a fool of themselves.
Well, I'm fucked. I wanted to try MultiRom but my laptop charger died so I can't backup 9 gigs of music Is there any way to install MR without losing all data?

Don't you keep everything in the root of the phone when formatting data? Think only /sdcard/data is wiped.

oh god remember when they switched the 4.x toggles from the settings around

what
I've tried like 8 office apps and they all have performance issues handling bigger documents, not the only one and diff tablets get this issue, only Google Drive has done well to me but I wished it saved in the .doc format.
Also the rumors for the next Sony flagships are ridiculous, imagine the battery life on this thing
However, more interesting is ‘Honami’, which is believed to be the company’s ‘One Sony’ model – offering the best Sony tech in one chassis. Honami is believed to sport a 5-inch 1080p display, dedicated Walkman audio chip (S-Master MX Digital Amplifier?) and a 20MP Cyber-shot CMOS sensor with Carl Zeiss lens.
Honami may end up running the Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.3GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics says ePrice along with 2GB RAM and an embedded battery with 2700 to 3000mAh capacity. It also cites a 20MP camera sensor and says that it will come with a xenon flash and dual LED.
Lastly, another site, VR-Zone, says that the handset may run a Triluminos display according to its own sources.
Though Sony probably will mess up camera software, maybe they'll fix the display calibrations.
The fix involves buying panels that are the same caliber of the ones HTC and Apple buy. Nobody thinks of Sony as a flagship brand because they always use such trash for at least one part of their device and they always seem to end up behind when it comes to their internal hardware(they're on APQ8064 while everyone else moves to newer Krait chips). When people talk about smartphones we're hearing about the iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy S4, and the HTC One. That phone sounds nice and all, but they're losing out because it doesn't exist when it should, which is right now.
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
Also Triluminos sounds like a joke. It won't help make their displays look better at all on phones, they'll just end up looking worse because they'll run at something stupid between NTSC and AdobeRGB which isn't what should be on a phone.
Again, it's just some cost reduction tech from Sony because they're cheap and trashy and don't want to pay for RGB backlighting to get their TVs up to par.

what
"Completely compatible"
Which means, it can just open everything
Powerpoints are just still slides and a word document was full of black boxes at the end of every paragraph

I think the issue is that they have completely different goals or something because they're clearly capable of making displays like the One X AT&T variant that are just ridiculously good.
Also these rumors make me laugh. 2.3 GHz S800 means it'll be constantly fighting the TDP regulation systems to avoid overheating. 20MP sensor means either this thing will have horrible low light quality or the camera hump will be enormous, etc.
I'd expect S600 unless they've finally stopped being a generation behind on SoC. Sony has all the right things in all the right places but for some reason they've never quite gotten things together.

Since when does openoffice cost money?
I am tempted to go to the nexus 4 but things like iMessage keep me on my iPhone. Ahhh ecosystems.
You can just tell your friends to download whatsapp, most of my friends have it now
It doesn't seem to have really caught on here in Australia..
Use Facebook? Most people have the facebook app installed which works as an online messenger
Kay, uh.. I sort of like AOKP. But I also like CM.
NOW WHAT?
