How long do you think it'll take to roll out in the US? Also, does the play store update from the play store, or from Google (like the Google settings app).
Updates in the background (over WiFi only I think), like the Play services that appeared on peoples phones not too long ago.
on Android police, you get grab the apk and directly install it as an update
Apparently Google removed 60,000 apps from the Play Store ahead of launch, for spam/quality reasons. Nifty, but there's still a lot more. http://techcrunch.com/2013/04/08/nearly-60k-low-quality-apps-booted-from-google-play-store-in-february-points-to-increased-spam-fighting/
I'm a fan but some of the buttons are tiny. It still bugs out when updating a lot of apps...
the buttons are tiny as fuck on my small potato
Oh, yay. Wifi only. Which means I'll have to leave my dorm. We can only have 2 non-computer devices on the Wifi account here, and I have my tablet and my xbox on it.
Is it bad that I actually like The Simpsons: Tapped Out? Everything except the always on part.
if you have a laptop that connects via ethernet can you not just bridge the connections to make a wireless access point for yourself?
I tried that once. It was a pain in the arse to do and had to use some trial evaluation software. If someone knows a better way, do tell.
This is what I was trying to do with my friend's transformer. No way, jose`.

Apparently the headphones that came with my Galaxy S2 have a built-in mic, and I can initiate a voice search by holding down the button on the headphones. That basically just blew my mind, I might actually give that stuff a try, would be nice to do a Google search while riding a bike and hear the results from the card through my headphones, and then go back to music. It's almost like Google Glasses, except a whole lot worse.
Finally, Australia now has Play Music officially!

I knew it had a mic but did not know about the button (also my s3's headphones are broken, also there was no google now when I had an s2). That is so totally awesome!
wifi repeater & NAT combo ? keep all your devices using generic internet traffic on that, and keep your xbox on the other.
Cant. You register a device with the DNS. No DNS set, no connection.
Cant. You register a device with the DNS. No DNS set, no connection.
You register the wifi repeater, they can't see what other devices you have connected to the repeater as it's a separate network. Also, DNS? What does it stand for in this case?
You register the wifi repeater, they can't see what other devices you have connected to the repeater as it's a separate network. Also, DNS? What does it stand for in this case?
The server address. And I would assume using a repeater would be against the TAC of the ISP (my school has this weird setup with the ISP where the ISP provides service directly, rather than the school buying the service and using routers.).
Is it bad that I actually like The Simpsons: Tapped Out? Everything except the always on part.
What level are you on? I'm level 11 (6395/12000 XP). I don't like it, but I play it anyway

Sigh.
Broke and downloaded the APK. It's really nice.
Finally, Australia now has Play Music officially!
Finally, finally!!! [editline]10th April 2013[/editline] And now the upload of 12GB worth of music to my phone
Is it bad that I actually like The Simpsons: Tapped Out? Everything except the always on part.
I'm still playing that game, I like plan stuff out with this game, I do the 12 hour tasks everytime and I have 2 huge money farms.
[thumb]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/03/28/2agahypu.jpg[/thumb] I think we need to complain about HTC's piss poor battery life, anyone with me?
every phone has piss poor battery life except for maybe the Razr Maxx
every phone has piss poor battery life except for maybe the Razr Maxx
Yeah, 6.5 hours of screen on time and a full day of standby is trash. I want at least 12 hours of screen on time and 4 days worth of standby.

It's a separate network, they can't see that. [editline]10th April 2013[/editline]
Yeah, 6.5 hours of screen on time and a full day of standby is trash.
There would be nothing the ISP can do about it as they would never ever find out. It's a separate network, they can't see that.
Exactly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation Every home router also does NAT translation.
I just ordered the flip case for the HTC one. it's quite expensive, but well worth it.
Man I would kill for GTA Chinatown wars on the Android store. I wish more games got ported over from iOS. I got introduced to Monkey Island when I had my iPod Touch, and would love to play it on my Nexus 4 now.
