I haven't even had the update yet. I have no idea when the updater kicks in and I've not been on wifi that long today, I've tried to get on wifi often to see if it'd update, no luck.
I broke and installed the apk :v: Does no harm, future updates will still install etc..
The Apk is on most major android news sites.
I guess :v:
Chrome beta 27.0.1453.49 contains a number of great new updates including:
Fullscreen on phones - Scroll down the page and the toolbar will disappear.
it doesn't quick return like the google now search box though which kinda sucks.

I can't see why all you guys like Chrome browser. I've tried all the browsers and the only ones that are both fast and functional in my experience are Boat Browser, Dolphin, Opera and stock. Chrome and Firefox are heaps slow and bloated and Maxthon runs services and shit in the background.
Well, generally we bitch about the bugs. All. The. Time.
But it syncs with the desktop browser and I find that quite valuable.
(I still have Opera on my phone when I just do not feel like fucking with it.)

Whats the best screen protector for a galaxy s3?

Seriously though, any one of the better brands (like Zagg or Invisible Shield) will be fine.
If you want to start getting into wet application and shit, check out Ghost Armor.
Any screen protector will deaden your image a bit, but if you really need one (like if you live in a dusty environment and work outside like me) it's a small price to pay.
Just do not go opaque. Always go glossy.

Firefox for Android is the smoothest browser I've used but I think it's because of the 2GB RAM in the Nexus 4. It's improved so much over the last few months.

Wet application blows. Seriously, just go with either glass or plastic dry application screen protectors. Glass screen protectors actually prevent screen shattering because the glass shatters (it's safety glass with a film so not dangerous) and takes the hit instead of the actual glass screen. Plastic dry application doesn't turn nearly as shitty as wet apply protectors, are usually cheaper, application is faster, and they don't drag nearly as much as standard dry application protectors.
If you're scared to get dry apply because of the application, this is how you apply them flawlessly 100% of the time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMPqDwVZzzM

Edit: If you really want the highest quality screen protectors, Steinheil all the way. Flawlessly clear optical quality and they apply coatings that make the protectors much more scratch resistant.
I've had the same screen protector on my GNex for the past year. I have no idea what brand it is (Verizon applies it for free at the store) and its scratched to shit, but I'm not letting it go. :v:
I use the verizon ones too. I'm pretty sure theyre invisible sheild.
Important for Transformer Infinity owners:
You can get the stock Android homescreen UI that's on the Nexus 10. It's part of Asus' 4.2, but the option is hidden.
This is how.
Now the only UI skinning is in the settings menu and the camera.
[editline]10th April 2013[/editline]
Note: It will not interfere with your custom launcher setup. It changes the system UI you see.

Just apply a new one, screen protectors are cheap and dry apply ones make it possible to get out dust if you notice it underneath (use one piece of tape to lift, use the sticky side of another piece to dab the area that has the dust, and quickly set it back down.)
My friend has the AT&T Optimus G. It just got the JB update, but his phone hasn't gotten the option to update yet. Is there a way he can force the update from AT&T's servers? I've done this on my Nexus 4, but I'm not sure if AT&T's servers work the same way.

Connect to mobile data, set the date ahead by a day, reboot, try again.

The interface is fast, but the actual loading and rendering of pages is slow. Chrome is just slow all together.

Firefox for Android Beta is pretty damned fast, not just the interface either.
I can't bring myself away from chrome on my phone due to the fact I like how it syncs with my desktop and laptop so well.
[editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
If other browsers did this, I would move in an instant.

Firefox has built in sync with desktop.

But I don't want to use firefox on my desktop.

Please don't turn this into a Chrome vs firefox debate

Yeah then you have no choice. If you use Chrome, the only other browser that has even basic sync functions would be the stock AOSP browser.
I've always enjoyed using Chrome features and my main pc browser is chrome too.
What's a good alternative to the nexus 4 bumper. Don't want to spend $20 of a bumper for my phone
AT&T fucked up the dream of a single GSM SKU for all of North America. AWS LTE means AWS WCDMA is a piece of cake, boy I wonder why the AT&T One supports AWS LTE but not AWS WCDMA???
They pulled the same exact shit with the iPhone 5 too. The AT&T version had full capability to do AWS WCDMA but they required that path to be blocked, so now the TMOUS iP5 has the same exact model number as the ATT iP5, but all ATT iP5 from before the switch cannot support AWS WCDMA no matter what.

I thought the "One" was like, one phone for pretty much every carrier except freak carriers like Sprint/Verizon. That really sucks.
Firefox has built in sync with desktop.
Good luck getting it to work. Firefox's sync is the worst. I have never gotten it to work since its inception.
