Damn Nexus headphones, you sexy. [t]http://www.androidmeter.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/featured_image.jpg[/t] Must buy asap
is it any good? any reviews out yet?
is it any good? any reviews out yet?
Nothing for the nexus version yet, but they're basically LG QuadBeat with an X instead of the LG logo. QuadBeat gets decent reviews,, the audio quality is obviously nothing for audiophiles, but they're much better than other headphones bundled with phones, and with a good price like that, they may very likely be the go-to headphones if you need an inline microphone.
if anybody's linked their Tapped Out to Origin, plz gib me your account name so I can add you edit: wait what? I already have the maximum number of allowed friends? but I don't have any...

Yeah, actually it's per-region; there's one for North America and one for EU. It's probably because of licencing issues; "EA Inc" only handles the NA version and there are other subsidiaries that handle EU. I'm not sure why you ended up on the NA page.
I thought the "One" was like, one phone for pretty much every carrier except freak carriers like Sprint/Verizon. That really sucks.
It's one phone but with different radio bands for different regions. EMEA gets one variant, NA would've gotten one for GSM but it's 2 GSM and 1/2 CDMA. China I have no clue about but there's rumors of a One with dual SIM and microSD. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline]
Good luck getting it to work. Firefox's sync is the worst. I have never gotten it to work since its inception.
Hm weird, I've got it working just fine. I guess different things work for different people.
GODDMNIT!
All the hype and watch it end up as a flop.
Well, the announcement would still be at I/O, but it wouldnt launch for another couple months.
tbh if its not 100 percent stock i won't be buying it also the leaked internal feature sheet for babel cant wait!
It can't be bone stock. The other OEMs would throw a hissy fit and those that could would get closer to forking or leaving android alltogether. Sammy especially. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] Honestly, Motoblur isn't even a thing anymore. Literally the only skinning they do is an icon pack, colorizing the settings menu icons, and supporting the few blur apps they have.
It can't be bone stock. The other OEMs would throw a hissy fit and those that could would get closer to forking or leaving android alltogether. Sammy especially.
Why couldn't it be stock? It's a google phone.
It's a motorola phone. Google has alluded to letting Moto act on their own, but everyone knows thats a lie. If moto got updates at the same time as Nexus (which it would if it were bone stock), it would put the OEMs at a competitive disadvantage and they would respond in the above way. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] In any case, it likely won't be bone stock anyway because it looks like a test run for Moto Nexus phones in a couple cycles (the only logical conclusion). The OEMs are gonna move away from android anyway, starting with samsung, but Google wouldn't want to aggravate them and cause it to happen faster.
lot's of people have been bitching that their games have been erased after the new Tapped out update
Hey guys, haven't checked this thread in a long time but next month I'll finally be due for an upgrade on Sprint. What would be my best option? I don't think Google's X phone will be on Sprint so I'm not really planning on waiting for that. Is the HTC One a good option? Do you think it'll have a lot of custom roms? I'm not used to buying anything other than Nexus phones
X Phone will likely be on the Play Store, if rumors are true. Wait for I/O anyway.
The problem with the rumors I see about the x is that it is both not stock and supposedly sold on the play store google would only do one of that pair either it's sold on the play store, or not stock
Well, even if it's not the play store, everything points to it being sold unlocked from a central site.
I'm not buying an unlocked one to use on sprint as I don't think it'd even work with Sprint as they use a different network architecture, that was what held me back from getting the GNex from them a while back
I thought they're just CDMA? Like Verizon, Metro, and others... [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] Like, if you take out the R-UIN card (the equivalent of a SIM card, but for CDMA) from a Sprint phone and put it in an unlocked phone, it should work as ling as the unlocked phone is CDMA compatible.

Sprint does not allow activation of any device that isn't a carrier phone. Any phone that isn't built in with international GSM roaming doesn't have a SIM card, LTE or not. They somehow set the SIM in software.
Also the phones on the play store are HSPA and not CDMA I'm pretty sure
Also the phones on the play store are HSPA and not CDMA I'm pretty sure
Yes, no play store device supports CDMA carriers. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] Quick note: The "software" SIM card is for LTE only. CDMA works the way it always has, which is without a SIM card.
