The board screw holes are actually little locks that the motherboard slides onto. I would have to bend them down, or cut them off.
Oh, it's one of those.
Yeah there were a bunch of Dell machines that had the hook system with one or two screws on the opposite end of the I/O plate. Usually those setups had motherboards on trays that slid in and locked with a clip.
If anyone has a MSI 660ti OC, I'm willing to buy it for a decent price due to the fact that they're fucking impossible to find now except on Amazon for £195 (wtf they should be in the £150 range)
Is anyone considering selling a 780 to get a 780 ti. Yeah I'm looking to buy another 780.

Im a little pissed about the TI, I bought the 780 because I thought it was gonna be the flagship(minus the titan) for a while :( Any benchmarks yet?
Sidenote, who is this Quikkill guy and why his is name in the title?

Sidenote, who is this Quikkill guy and why his is name in the title?
We're both in the same boat. But the 780 Ti isn't going to hinder the performance of my 780 it'll still work as well as it does. These days I wish I had gone with the titan, the double precision would have helped the viewport 2.0 in Maya a lot more.
Also, I think the 780ti is just a response to this new Radeon R290X thing.

Depending on performance I may be willing to sell mine. If it's the price of a 780 and the performance of a titan, I'm game.
Would anyone be interested in an Apple Bluetooth keyboard or Magic Mouse?
The keyboard doesn't have a num pad.
how much include shipping to NZ
I was thinking around 250 to sell, it's in great condition. Shipping through fedex gave me the rate of 110 USD :/
Postal mail is always the way to go for individuals. Third party carriers such as fedex and ups are only cheap if you're a business and has a frequent shipping contract with them.
[editline]21st October 2013[/editline]
But nontheless even for USPS shipping from US to NZ would cost almost $100 with tracking
I've got some cheap wireless N USB adapter that I bought off eBay with the hopes of it working on my Nan's Smart TV. (The Panasonic ones are expensive as hell). Unfortunately it didn't work. It works on a PC fine though and has a disk. Uses some Ralink chipset.
If anyone wants it you can have it; if you pay postage.

£90 shipped?
£90 shipped?
I'll think about it, don't have much money at the moment.

Well you're in the Russian Federation, so for you, £4.95 or 254.64 Russian Ruble. Probably cheaper getting one elsewhere.
RHX is actually in the UK.

I am indeed, it's just FlagDog being a silly shit.
Then it'd be £2.60 second class or £3 first class.
This is a shot in the dark but I'll ask anyways.
Currently, I am without a PC and I am borrowing a laptop from my computer networking class. Does anyone have a working laptop or desktop computer that they don't use anymore and wouldn't mind sending my way? It would be greatly appreciated.
I know I don't really have anything to trade but I am going to be learning C++ this year so maybe later on (around spring time), I could help you with a project or something.
Thought I could help but the box I could of sent you has died. Sorry buddy. Ignore this post.
Even if it was working, shipping would be murder to the US. You'd also have to mess with customs, making it even worse.
I have two computers that you could pick from crispydew, but you'd have to pay shipping plus $20 for me fixing them up for use (they've been sitting quite awhile.) I have a 3rd machine (Inspiron 1501) but the screen is all fucked up due to a failing inverter and some other problems.
They're oldies, and are cosmetically challenged, but they work.
The first is a Dell Dimension 4600C (pretty sure) with a Pentium 4 3.0 and as much RAM as I can cram in it (at least 1 GB.) I can put Windows XP on it or some flavor of Linux at at your discretion. The only thing wrong with this machine is the entire front bezel is missing, so it'll look ugly, but it works fine. The only downside to picking this machine is shipping will be $30-$40 due to weight and size.
I might be able to toss in a basic keyboard and mouse with this if they fit in the shipping box.
The other is a Dell Inspiron 500M. It's one of the smaller Dell laptops with a 14.1" screen, a 1.3 GHz Pentium M, 512 MB of RAM and a 20 or 30 GB hard drive. The only thing wrong with this machine is the battery is dead, so you'll have to leave it plugged in or get a new battery (which are like $15-$17 on Amazon.) This one will come with Windows XP or Linux (Linux would probably run a bit better on it.)

Thanks for the offer but my computer class actually had a leftover desktop that they didn't need.
Followed advice, Craiglist:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/sys/4150413160.html
If anyone wants, I'll ship it out to them at a total cost of $100 (including shipping).
Either I keep this, or buy a modern mobo with dirt cheap parts, no case for either. Surely something can be done to use this desktop, just whatever I throw at it is trash given poor USB boot.
+rep for benbb, wifi adapter arrived today and works great.
Loving the face on the envelope too:

Thanks man! It's meant to be the Facepunch logo with Wifi bars coming out of it. I'm a horrible artist.
Anybody have a pair of WORKING XB-500's? I'll trade ya a Model M for em.
Edit: or really any good pair of headphones.
