gimme dat if he doesn't take it
I would need it sooner, guess I'll look around ebay and craigslist.
Does anyone have a half-decent, quiet, low-profile PCIe GPU that they'd be willing to sell for ~$30-40? I'm planning on getting a Radeon HD 6450 for my HTPC, though I'm curious if anyone has something better used.
EDIT: Ended up getting a 6450.
Not sure if I can sell this here but..
I have a Steelseries Sensei that I was going to return and had all packed but I just missed the date. It's brand new. I just didn't like the mouse as I'm not very used to the ambidextrous feel of it. $50 and you pay shipping. Price is negotiable.
I'm also willing to trade it for a mechanical keyboard or an Artisan Hayate/Hien (L). Mouse retail value is about $90 on Steelseries.com. If you wanna trade something that I didn't list just PM me and I'll take it into consideration. :~)
Long shot, but anyone got any server components for use in a HP ProLiant DL380 G4? More specifically I'm after a Xeon 3.2 / 2x 146GB 10K SAS disks and a crap load of 3200R RAM
I'll sell a PC (minus HDD, or maybe with a small 80GB or so HDD) with
AMD Phenom II 945
GTX 460
4GB RAM
some cheap biostar motherboard
for like $200+shipping which is a really good deal if anyone's interested. It'll be a while before I get the GPU (buying Makols 560 to swap with a 460)
The PSU is pretty low quality, so I'd suggest you replace it.
If you're poor and need a gaming PC and you're in the US, HMU

I'm not 100% sure if the CPU model is right, if anyones interested I'll take a look

If I remember correctly you had a 955.
That was a different computer. I put this together with stuff I bought on FP like a year ago

Would you be willing to sell just the GPU? If so how much?
Tools needed to flash an xbox 360 dvd drive.
Xecuter CK3 Pro w/ probe
Xecuter x360usb pro
All applicable wires
No one showed interest, so I'll take the first reasonable offer. I'd rather let someone get use of this before xbox one comes out.
Anyone want 2GB DDR3 laptop RAM? I'll let it go for cheap.

I have an HD3450 256M low profile, but it uses a DMS-59 connector. It's probably a bit too old for what you need.
Aight, here's a full list of stuff I'm potentially looking for if anyone has it, keep in mind UK here.
-Mouse, obviously I'd want something fancy but as is something bog standard could do me too, my middle mouse button is going and it turns out I use it a lot.
-Hard drive, I've got a like 30gig SSD as my C:\, which is great for boot times but since windows like to default everything to C:\ and even when installed elsewhere things will put parts of themselves on C:\, I keep running out of space, spent 2 hours installing graphics drivers last night, messy business, and if I set up any more disk-links it's going to become more trouble than it's worth.
-Monitor, this one is a low priority, and low expectancy, but if anyone has a decent sized widescreen monitor with a better resolution than my current main of 1360x768 they they're not partial to keeping, then I'm all ears.

Whoops, forgot to edit my post to say I ended up buying a 6450 from newegg, since I needed to get something from there anyway.

Sorry for late, but I don't think so. Turns out my half-brother I've never met is moving in soon and I'll probably give him the computer :)

Aw. No problem buddy. Thanks anyway.

You want a socket 604 Netburst Xeon 3.2? Your server supports up to 3.8 GHz single core and the 2.8 GHz dual core Paxville DP
P/N: SL8MA
They're still kinda expensive, but you can find deal like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matched-Pair-of-Intel-Xeon-2-80GHz-4M-Server-Processors-SL8MA-/231025706412?pt=US_Server_CPUs_Processors&hash=item35ca3485ac
Matched pair for $30.
I installed some in a server a year ago, they're the heaviest processors I've ever handled. I swear each one weighed 2-3 lb.
But if you just want another singular 3.2, you need to figure out what the Sspec is or the server may bitch that you have mismatched core revisions. There are three Xeons that run at 3.2 (one Irwindale and two Nocona) with a half dozen core revisions between them.
Aw. No problem buddy. Thanks anyway.
What socket is it? I've got six single-core Xeons, I believe two are Socket 604 and the other four are either 604 as well or 771. I'll go look at work and see what I can see.

Cool let me know how you get on. Keep in mind that I'm in the UK though.

Fair point - but it's more of a case of matching the one already installed I'm afraid. I'm only building a backup server in case of the event that the main server develops a nasty fault. It's something to keep the directors happy really.
I'll take another look on Monday when I'm back at work. Thanks though!
got a xfx hd radeon 6870 willing to let go, 100 bucks or trade something, its useless to me now

Eh at that point shipping will be like 2x as much as the CPUs themselves, but I'll still find out and let you know.
any poor children need a 9800 GTX?
any poor children need a 9800 GTX?
I'm building a older rig for someone at a local church, but they couldn't pay much anything for it. I was going to toss in an 8500GT, which is all I got laying around for giving away.
I'm also trying to find a cheap old LGA775 MicroATX board (like 865/915 chipset at least) because the one the church gave me to work with has blown caps, which would cost way more than it's worth to fix.
would they actually use it for video games and do they deserve it?????? I'd prefer if it went to a FPer
I'd probably try and get it if only I could pay for the extortionate shipping fees.
