Damn it! It was out of battery and I ran down to the charger and started to charge it. A few minutes later the screen was just one thing, white. Any solutions for this problem?

How? It´s just white.
Hold lock/shutdown/that button at top of your iPhone.
I did know that, but are there any other ways? It didn't work.
Plug it into your computer, do a restore.
And lose my files?

It restores your iPhone from the last time you had it plugged in.

Contact Apple. I heard, using MobileMe, they can reset your iPhone.

Hold power and home until the screen turns off then restart if that doesn't work its a restore in DFU mode for you
