Spotify & iTunes but since the new Spotify update.. only Spotify.
Using foobar now, found all my chiptune plugins for it so I have no reason to go back to Winamp at this point.

Someone recommend me a theme that doesn't have huge icons and flashy shit in it.
lol at anyone that doesnt use foobar2000 to play their music
Why lol? It still just connects to DirectSound. The quality difference from say, WMP is... well, not a difference at all. You could theoretically see an improvement from using the WASAPI or kernel streaming plugins to connect directly to the sound card, but that's being anal. Chances are neither your sound chip or your speakers are good enough to reproduce that improvement.
I tried once to listen to a FLAC file through WASAPI on foobar, ripped with EAC.
Then I compared it to a WMA lossless casually ripped with WMP and played in WMP.
No fucking difference.
lol at you because wmp and itunes and the like are bloaty pieces of shit
iTunes maybe, but Microsoft really knows what they are doing with WMP. Quality is impeccable. And it really isn't bloated at all.
gahahahah at the things that you believe also iirc youre the guy that couldnt figure out the diff. between 16:9 and 16:10 or something
It isn't something I believe. It's something I know.
Also,
iirc youre the guy that couldnt figure out the diff. between 16:9 and 16:10 or something
wtf are you talking about?!
I know for a fact, that Windows Media Player is a flawlessly coded piece of software. No flaws or bugs here.
I didn't say it was flawless or bug free. I said quality was impeccable. And that it would appear to have none of the bloat you are accusing it of.
Flawless? Nah, I didn't say that. Impeccable quality though, that's something I can get behind.
iTunes... Ya, I have an iPod, and I'm just too fucking lazy to find another player.
I'd love to use foobar2000 but goddamn I can't pull myself away from Zune's interface
WMP 12 runs fine and with codec pack i can listen to every music format and movie format
DirectShow is a wondrous thing.

Workaround for illiminable filters!?
WMP is alright, but I hate how it checks for new items to add to the lbrary when it starts. Ever since it started doing that it takes an age to start playing. I still like it above most other media players, though.
Odd.
I use iTunes. It's not really my player of choice, but I figured: "If I have to use it for my iPod Touch, might as well use it for music as well."
foobar2000 with ColumnsUI, MSN Now Playing module, DUMB module, MIDI module and loads of other format modules.
Winamp classic, supports media keys, take little ram, and it's user friendly.
