I use Zune. I love it so much.

Foobar can play better sound quality because there is a plugin that lets you use higher frequencies and thus get a larger soundstage and better bass.

Using higher frequencies than the source is largely pointless. And unless it's a multiple of the original it will actually degrade quality.

Zune for music, VLC for videos

Spotify for music. It's awesome, especially since after the new update it can play music from your hard drive, too. VLC for video.

oh and media player classic for movies. the only one anybody should ever use. (vlc is a turd)

Winamp for music, WMP for movies, and FLV Player for videos/movies that doesn't work with WMP.

Music: iTunes Movies: Windows Media Player

VLC may play everything and be cool and riding the awesome wave of Open Source... But the video quality is pretty bad and the sound wasn't top either IIRC. Used to be WMP, then I shifted to zune when I got one, now I use iTunes because I have an iPhone. There were a few months though that I switched from zune to Winamp.

Zune player for most of it. If the default wants it to play somewhere else I let it, but mp3s and most video files use Zune.

Why would you wanna use anything else than Winamp for music?
