It was. AIM is non-existent now, and the company that holds all the licensing and does the development for anyone in the Power.org organization for PowerPC (or I suppose now the modern label is Power ISA) is IBM. Motorola and Apple actually never even joined Power.org. I never said who originally was part of producing it, I said who owns, maintains, and develops it and everyone else besides IBM in Power.org is basically a licensee or a fab.
Just FYI POWERx are the microprocessor names, not the architectures.
Holy shit Gigabite, you really need to learn how to let things go.

You really need to learn to stay out of things you have no part in.

Gigabyte, please. Just let it go. No reason to get caught u; in an argument like this. If it keeps going it'll just end badly for everyone involved.

On a public forum, sure.
Take it to PMs if it bothers you that much.

I don't need to learn something that I already practice. This thread isn't a playground for you fyi.

I have PMs disabled. I don't need more than one place crammed full of trolls reponses.

Except you aren't. The two posts you made prior were first a personal attack and second a shitpost.
When was this my personal playground?

Except Windows can run on an old PC reasonably well. Windows 7 will run just fine on a Pentium 3 1400 with 2-4 GB of RAM and be able to function as a general internet browsing machine. Sure you may not be able to use some features like Aero, but it will still work. The Pentium 3 is a 15+ year old processor too.
It's gonna be super slow, and good luck finding drivers for a system so old. And you might as well forget about internet browsing unless you're visiting text-only sites with a simple layout.
Chances are, if Apple stops supporting a specific mac for a new OS, it wasn't worth running the OS on that system anyway.

Actually it works surprisingly well if you have a video card that supports at least DirectX 9. The only real issue on the internet is obviously Flash, but that gives even modern computers headaches. With HTML5 coming out and native video support, it's less of an issue than it used to be.
it's not like you can't bootcamp windows on those macs you think OS X would run 'terribly' on

im not sure what kind of point the shared video memory is against os x because windows does that too
