The people that use them are the ones that insist on having every frigging shortcut to every piece of software they have on their desktop, instead of in the Start menu where they belong. Seriously, I can start any piece of software I have by hitting the Windows key and typing in a bit of the name and hitting enter. This allows me to have a nice, clean looking desktop. You don't need Fences. They just look like ass.

Uh who says that you can only have shortcuts to software in them?
They're mega useful for college, I have all my unit work in fences on my desktop, much quicker than nested folders of doom.
